This might sound crazy, but I think Hugo is one of those characters 
Still having trouble against good elenas. Nobody in my scene plays her even a little bit and I only run into one in a blue moon online but thereās one french guy who plays her really well and Iām all at sea when he gets his mixups going.
Any advice from anyone who plays a good one on the regs?
Chun-Li is like the bane of my existence. I can block hazanshu and shit but itās so fucking uphill for me mentally. I donāt have any match footage of my terrible play but can someone tell me how it is that Bison should play to the match-up and what buttons can beat her pokes (especially st.mp and st.hp). I get outfootsied so hard by her and I have a really hard time getting anything started. Also who do you guys think wins the match-up theoretically?

Iāve heard some people say that itās in Chunās favour but I always thought it was even. She may be able to outzone/outpoke you (which some good focus dashes will nullify) but your pressure outweighs hers. EX PSYCHO CRUSHER MUAHAHAHA. It is hard to whiff punish her, cause she can just throw out her godlike sweep at any moment, but some bs scissor kick pressure will destroy her. I hate how her EX spinning vagoo beats my EX headstompā¦
Okay thanks Iāll work on my focus dashing then, but Iāve noticed that st.mp only has about 10 frames of recovery and that Bisonās forward dash is 17 frames which means sheās at pseudo frame advantage. this will probably help with my ailments with st.hp and st.hk though. maybe my own st.mp can beat it out if I time it right or some shit at the right range
Guys I have a tournament coming up in three weeks which is a pretty major deal round my way. I was beaten in grand finals last year from winners by a vega who is coming again to this one. Iām scared shitless of Vega as he out pokes bison badly and I like to play footsies and dominate the neutral game if I can.
Can you guys please let me know what the optimal game plan is against Vega please? What should I be looking out for? This guys defense is brilliant and his spacing is gdlk. I hate him!!
Should I be playing a really dry game against Vega and not pressing too many buttons or go balls to the wall rushdown? Just have never been able to figure this matchup out at all.

Try slowly walking him down to the corner. It is importsnt to know your range against vega, then its easy to whiffpunish him. Bison wins the pressure game.
Vega has trouble with frame traps. Poke him and lame him out. If you get a chance to get in, frame traps all day.
here are some on-block punishes against rolento:
ground pogo: canāt punish because itās -2 on block, but a cr.LK in return is still in your favor. Must be blocked high
air pogo: can be blocked low. After dropping down with his pogo stick, rolento will ricochet back up and forward in the air to do any following jump attack. Mash cl.HP after blocking the pogo. The cl.HP will either hit, or whiff but allowing you to recovery fast enough to grab him when lands his jump attack
EX overhead: cr.LK
1st rekka: cr.LK
2nd rekka: far.MP (cl.MP is too slow). If heās too close to punish with far.MP, do cr.MK instead
3rd rekka: ultra
EX rekka: cl.MP
roll (including EX): s.MK or LK.super. Can be grabbed before it hits you but timing is strict
far fierce: s.HK or LK.super. You must be close enough otherwise these punishes will whiff
punishing the EX overhead and 1st rekka is extremely strict because cr.LK must be plinked earlier than what the animation suggests
Does Bison have any good matchups besides Rose? Even after getting buffed it feels like every match is either neutral or a struggle in terms of matchup

Seems like for online play the simplest punish would be any light into SK/Super. I didnāt spend time long enough to see if I can get a crMK into a Heavy Scissor Kick which would probably allow some fadc combosā¦

No rapid daggers are safe. The lp can be punished by short into scissors but itās a 1 frame punish and situational as it doesnāt work if she starts them up from far away.
Cr short to whatever is your go to punish though.
Also: I know the advice wasnāt particularly helpful but you should maybe be a bit nicer to people as weāre all here to try and help each other out. Name calling and shit slinging helps no one.

Decapreās lp version of her rappid dagger move is -3 on block and -5 on block for her mp version, and -7 for the hp version. EX is 100% safe.
If you are going to punish her, she canāt be using the lp or EX versions. preferably I would use c.lk, but I have not tested this. c.lk has 3 frame startup.
C.mk is a 5 frame startup move, so you would need to use that only on the HP version of daggers. Do you think players will give you that option on a block string if they know frame date?
