Who would be considered the best characters for building meter on point?
Batteryman AA/AAA/D
Batteryman Industrial Strength
Batteryman Micro/Fuel Cell
etc.
Anyone equipped with Blue chaos emeralds.
Realistically though, probably Kaz, Heihachi, Juri, Guile. Ryu and Rufus too.
well depends in which role you see the character. guile has arguable the best “zone” meter gain. lp boom + whiff s.hp are godlike. if you look for a character that builds meter through pressure you might want to try someone safeish: ryu, rufus, ibuki, juri etc.
Heihachi is a decent battery I reckon. He doesn’t need meter to open people up as he has mix-ups to get in that lead to meterless 300+ damage combos. He also has a decent counter, an armour normal and specials that are invulnerable to fireballs, so he doesn’t need meter either to help out his defence. The only thing you might want to use meter for is to punish fireballs from long range with his EX Raijin, or punish people jumping in or out from long range with his super.
Give him a load of meter building gems, apply pressure, let him grind down as much of the other team as possible and then switch to your anchor to finish them off.
Law. Land one fury fist rush combo and watch that meter go bonkers.

I would think chun is good, in the similar vein as guile.
…we talking about just for the sake of building meter? Lili but she spends that meter like no ones business also(like Morrigan in MVC3).

Use guile and throw in a metter gem that gives you a boost when 4 of your attacks are blocked. in between sonicbooms throw in a hardpunch and you will build meter like a madman trust me
