Best A.I. for training?

Is there out any A.I that mimics human play to a certain degree? like a ryu vs ryu matchup?
This is for trainning purposes. I mean, like an A.I. with a good method that punishes loops, doesn’t fall to a weak exploit (like being corenered and going tilt), and that actually looks like it’s anticipating (no input reads). In other words, an A.I. with fundamentals and footsies.

I think you mean AI not IA.

That was, of course, to get attention into my thread, not a mistake >_>.

No.

ok.

by definition it wouldn’t be ‘artificial’

OMG people just reading the title. already changed it for something that fits my purpose.

Lol you can’t just change the subject of your thread so suddenly like that. It confuses people.

There’s no “best” AI for training. They all suck and have no real uses other than being moving targets that you can practice confirms/maybe punishes with. You’ll only get “real” training against a human opponent.

Why would it matter, anyway? Would you actually train for a specific game just for the AI?

i liked the cpu in super turbo(not hdr remix), and alpha 3. set difficulty to 8 and enjoy.

It’d be really awesome if games would pack AI & challenge updates in with patches as new tech is developed. It’d probably make the playerbase a whole lot better.

VF4 had those player A.I.'s. Those where decent to play against.

Is ass at Virtua Fighter

The record feature, record pressure or zoning shit you fall for and experiment to find ways out of or around it.

GG Xrd does this well, you can set 3 different patterns and have the training dummy randomly do stuff from them.

Just beating the shit out of the computer alone only helps your in match execution.
