So I just found out I’m going to Berlin, Germany for a year. I’ll be there before the end of March. I know this is a longshot but are there any SRK’ers over there? Does fighting game comp even exist there? Whether you are there or not, ANY information about the scene would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, thats cool :tup:. Our fighting game comunity is rather small, but Im sure youll find some competition in Berlin. There are a few 3rd players there as well as CvS2 and Alpha 3 if I can remember right. Best thing you can do is check out http://hardedge.org . There is an international section of the forum, but it is NOT there to keep the english posts out of the other sections. So feel free to post in English where ever you like.
There are two “big” tournaments taking place every year. The first is in Stuttgart in June/July I think. The seccond one is in Hamburg sometime around fall/winter. I went to Stuttgart last year and there were also many foreign players (Greek, Frensh, Swedish etc.).
At the end of march, there is another tournament in Duisburg (near where I live) taking place for the seccond time. It is not (yet) as “big” (german circumstances) as the other two , but I liked it.

Awww man, I REALLY appreciate your help but I got fucked into going to Nepal instead of Germany!!! :annoy::wasted: I’m so fucking pissed…I should have saw this coming though because that’s the way the Marine Corps works and I wasn’t in Germany yet so I shouldn’t have got my hopes up. Anyway, I’m done ranting. Thanks for your time and effort though man…hell, I might end up there the following year! Never know!:tup:

Just what I was gonna say, from what I heard Nepal is great. The people are very nice and you can meet some very inetersting and sociable monks there.
