yeah i think it’s “what are my options”. i tried using it but it’s too hard to read because it’s TOO comprehensive. it should have just given the slowest move we can use to punish and we can deduce what else to use based on range.
on a side note, i started playing bayonetta as well. i wish there was a damage-counter. i just wanna do the most damaging combo, so i just end up using nothing but rt and b for fights.

i think the combos do less damage if you repeat them (?). make sure you use witch time and (depending on the weapon) hold the buttons for each attack, and try to always end with a wicked weave (they do hella damage).
and maybe this is obvious to you, but don’t ever get hit, so you can build up your magic meter.
also i didn’t pay attention until like my 4th playthrough while trying to get platinum scores, but u should always keep your combo going by shooting ur gun or taunting. also, witch time and using angel weapons give you hella bonus points.
i basically mashed my way through the first two play thrus hahahahha but i wish i hadn’t.

the kilgore glitch is mostly for damage, but that leads to combo/money as well.

dead rising dead rising all i hear is dead rising. ok, i’ll play it. but not until i fucking get all platinum in normal and get all the umbran tears of blood in bayonetta (no faq) omfg so fucking hard.
the record/save system of bayonetta is hella hardcore. unlike a lot of contemporary action games where you can ‘stack’ your achievements and best records because the game ignores lower scores/times, bayonetta’s save system forces you to play the each level perfectly each time.
