ok didn’t know you could consistently make the last hit of rufus’s ex messiah whiff if you’re crouching point blank in front of him. ryu can get hit by the first 4 spins, dash, then f+HP. or just naked ultra. that makes approaching rufus on wakeup a lot less scary.

i was thinking, how long do you think most of us will be playing street fighter? with chess or poker, you can play till you’re old as shit. and sf takes brains too, but it also requires physical execution and reactions.

i think it’s something that can be enjoyed well into 40’s. you don’t need to do the crazier versions of combos or have ricky ortiz reaction times to play the game.

on a random note, i have an excel sheet with random game info + matchup + frame data that i use for reference. hopefully it’s helpful to yall too, but will need to update with AE patch.

ya’ll ever see that one site where you enter a character’s move (normal, special, super, or ultra), and it shows all the possible moves of another character that can punish it? i forgot the site, but that’s hella good, too.
