Begin with what you are most comfortable with?

Counting away the days until I get my joystick. When I do, I’m going straight to practice on 3s. The only problem is that I am absolutely horrible with joysticks so I need to get good at those as I get good at the game.

Originally, I was planning on going Dudley (he seemed simple enough when I played at the arcades) and figured it will not be that hard to learn the basics of both the game and joystick with him. However, I watched some Elena clips and she kicks ass! Especially since so little people even play her (it seems like people just forget she exists) but she isn’t exactly the easiest to play from what I see. So screw it and go with Elena or try to get basics down with someone line Dudley?

follow your heart…

Play the characters you’re comfortable with. Using a joystick, every character’s moves and cancels will solidify your hand strength and lead to an overall stronger input.

It took me forever to shoryu to the left, but if you just keep practicing it eventually happens. You’re thinking about this a bit too much, I’d say use whoever you’re best with and enjoy the game. Good input comes later.

Also Elena totally whips my ass, she’s better then the tier list says. All the pokes have super high priority
