Super jump, immediately d+H. Faster than doing a normal jump into d+H because the move is restricted by height…super jump lifts you up to that height faster.
wow, congrats to Hi_Im_Nastyy, him vs flip champ tonight was some good stuff in that grudge match. I just saw it on stream… I’ve seen the earlier “first match” to win umvc norcal 2 and that was great.

Wiffed Meteor to XFC Command Grab was some tech I used back in the day. Still very useful since ppl block as soon as they see that X-factor.
I got some broken tech coming. Watch out for it in the next couple weeks, possibly on the NEC stream.(I’m still not good yet though so don’t expect to see me on it lol)
Got a really silly Skrull question, especially considering my username…I’ve got a good number of Skrull bnbs down, but every now and then when I go for the down heavy to OTG, I end up just getting an air H…I’ve fooled around a bit and just tried to do jumping H to see what happens and it seems like you need to either be moving enough forward, or in the air long enough before the move will turn into the punch. Or am I just doing something stupid wrong? >_> Can anyone help me out?

Can meteor smash be followed up by anything other than XFC or hyper cancelling? I can’t think of a way.
There is a way you can follow up a meteor smash without using meter or assists, but I’m saving that tech for later.
What do you mean by “saving it”? lol And what type of assists can be used? OTG?
He’s saving it for the next time he’s gotta make Champ cry. Champ’s prolly lurking looking for ways to 1-up Nastyy. =P
As far as assist go, I think a slow moving projectile like drones or missiles could work but since I don’t use either of those two I couldn’t tell ya.
As in I show off all my tech before I release my new skrull guide and ppl will be like, “Oh I seen this already.” So I try not to reveal everything. Showing the 4 Inferno trick was one thing I wanted to keep, but the new tech I saved was how to get 5 without dropping.
Sentinel Drones are able to extend a bit, but depends how much hit stun your deteriorated before you meteor smashed. Don’t worry, it’ll be revealed soon. Once I get my marvel copy back that is. I haven’t played since Saturday.
@That Ol’ Skrull, lol he knows one of Skrull’s weaknesses, but he’s not using it correctly. He could just watch my Skrull guide and take notes…
Yeah, I’m fairly surprised he didn’t check that out, assuming he didn’t, before the recent grudge match. Which by the way congrats on, you rocked. =P

It was funny because there were some sidebets on me and champ. Dacid put a buck on me and Chrisis put one on Champ, and after I lost the first round, Chrisis said, “It’s okay to back out if you want.” Totally lol’d at that.

Well remember if you use flame sweep to start your TK infernos, make sure to wait till they start falling down so by the time you inferno, they should be near the ground and still juggling them. Then input the 2nd inferno regularly when you recover. Also you know got the TK’d inferno by what Skrull says during the inferno. He laughs if you did it mid-air.

Thanks. Well I’m still thinking on a set date. When I release the trailer it’ll have the official date. Since it took me a month-ish to complete the first one, I should have it done by February or late January.

Sucks that you won’t tell me, but at least it’s possible. It never made sense to me how people claim that Meteor Smash is a staple of Skrull play, yet it cannot be followed up without burning meter or XFCing; the prior of which I believe is why someone told me Skrull was a “meter dump”.
Well the thing is, it’s corner restricted and isn’t reliable since it’s very strict timing.
Yeah its takes based skrull execution and this is coming from a Zero player. lol
You need to be a based Skrull player to pull it off. I give my respect to Xavier for giving me the tip on it.
Well if you guys want, I’d be willing to upload parts of the guide when I work on it and get your opinions on it. I did that for the first guide, but I only asked people locally.

Yeah I asked the players around Sacramento for the first one. So unless you live around the Sacramento area, you can view my progress live as with what everyone remembers last time they always saw me lugging around my laptop editing my video. Occasionally I do visit Davis and Fairfield and sometime San Rafael.
Anyways, after I finish a section I’ll privately upload it so you guys can have a look-see, and see how it’s gonna be like. I think I should have my own logo done by now so I guess I’ll throw that in there.
