I’ll definitely add the kara-Slam in there, and thanks, I’ll revise the combo as well and add some more from the OP. If anybody has input, I’d love to add a little bit of everything from everyone here. That way, we’ll have a huge compilation of combos, tactics, etc. that the Brady guide doesn’t have, and maybe give some inspiration for the other characters’ wikis to be worked on.
That being said, is it cool if I add your video to the wiki, Aer0?
After down H I can almost never combo dash M after it does anyone else have a problem with the timing?
Also how is the big bnb possible? down H in the middle of the combo and then tenderizer in the end? it doesn’t work because after down H you used the 1 ground bounce. down H>tenderizer doesn’t even combo.
Yeah, the timing is difficult, but if you dash as soon as he hops back on the ground (after the initial smash), you have a small window to get the in there.
As for the other question, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. :l: Tenderizer only causes a ground bounce after the 10th (last) hit, meaning if there’s already one ground bounce in the combo, that 10th hit will simply end the combo and they’ll roll away. I’ll test it though and make sure I didn’t make a mistake.
after skull smash I dash into S, I don’t use the M. it took me a while to get the S to connect, the ‘trick’ is that you have to cancel the dash with S, don’t let the dash animation finish or the S will whiff. i hit M+H and sort of roll my thumb over to the S in one motion. once you get it down it’s very easy.
most damaging corner combo, excluding Death Penalty or X-Factor, I’ve got is.
c.M, c.H, S, j.M, j.H, j.S, air dash, down+H, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, j.S [Land] Meteor Smash xx Inferno -730K
you can add more hits but the scaling will kick in and drop the damage down a bit. you can also do it mid-screen but landing the meteor smash can be tough because it only hits in certain spots. I generally only use it in the corner.
Does anyone fine this combo is kind of hard to do…
s.:l:c.c.:h::s:, :h::s: land, dash, j.:d::h: dash-:s:, sj, slow or not to fast :h::s: those are my problem areas, hold :h: jump cancel up back, then press :d::h:, :qcb::atk::atk:.
Sigh can anyone show a more consistent mid screen combo that does 700k thx…
That’s some good stuff right there. I’ll have to try some of that out. I feel like Skrull is the weakest one in my team and I need to up my game with him.
Thanks. I feel ending his combos with a grounded Inferno works best than finishing off in the air, due to the mixup potential. I actually have something else up my sleeves regarding all resets that use a normal airthrow… I’ll let’cha guys know.
I’m new to this game and I have interest in Skrull. Can someone list for me the absolute easiest bnb Skrull has? I’d like to start by memorizing that and then going from there.
:l:c.:h::s:, sj, :h::s:, land, Tenderizer xx :d::df::f::atk::atk: …?
Also, tested what I was going to try out in the lab. Delicious tech-traps…
EDIT: Found some new things with Skrull, including a reset that seems to work only on Sentinel. Haven’t tried with other large characters, so I’d have to test. Still, some good anti-Sentinel technology. Works everywhere on the screen, too! Also found an improvement upon 5Ermacs’s Kara throw… This one actually goes full-screen. O: I’ll record the new stuff tomorrow.
Strictly speaking, his easiest would be a simple Elastic Slam -> OTG Tenderizer -> Skrull Torch. Mind you, you run out of meter very quickly relying on that.
Oh yes:3 i love fighting those standart teams with sent/dante/deadpool or akuma or smth.
the allways retreat to the corner, i meteor smash them, they send me mail…
i just hate ighting akuma, tatsumaki is somehow giving me trouble…
Iv been using j. airdash, d. H (in air) after e. slam. the only time ill do tenderizer is when i think i can get kill, that being said what would be the ideal combo for me to do after e. slam? also is there anything i can do after a tenderizer that doesnt invovle hypers?
You can do an otg into dash into air combo. I’ve been messing around with Wesker’s B assist and Skrull, trying to develop a strong reset game with elastic slam, and it’s going fairly well, so far. You really have to know your spacing to pick the right e.slam for the situation, but Skrull can rack up some huge damage pretty quickly just by mixing up his various otg options (including assist) to force resets on the opponent.
