Found out you can combo off a backthrow. Either:
Backthrow, Dash, Dash, Air Dash, :d:+:h:, combo. Pretty sure this doesn’t work against small characters like Joe and Ammy.
Backthrow, Dash, Stone Smite (Fully Charged), combo. Only seems to work against large hitboxes, like Sentinel’s.
Don’t know if these work on normal throws. They should.
What can sskrull do againts people who likes to spam projectiles? like cris , zero or like magneto.
Meteor Smash. His dash is pretty good too, so try to wavedash in.
Oh okay but can’t I get launched from a blocked meteor smash? Since u said to wd in, does that mean his dash goes under projectiles?
Yeah, you have to user your Meteor Smashes sparingly. Can’t spam it.
He doesn’t go under projectiles while dashing, but he’s fast enough to reach the other side of the screen in a snap. Practice the L~M wavedashing technique…you’ll get across faster than cancelling the dash with a “down” input.
It appears that skrulls j.d.H is intrinsice to his BNB comboes, I am having real issues landing it after the last j.S in his air combo. My understanding is you are supposed to IAD as soon as the j.S lands and then use d.H while still in the air to continue the combo at midscreen?? Whenever I try this I whiff it by a slight distance from enemy char, I’ve practiced this combo in the corner where I don’t have any issues so I vaguely understand the d.H timing to rebounce them. Any tips to make this combo easier/am I interpreting the combo wrong??
After j.S you can actually land, run up, jump up and do down+H. the timing isnt even that hard:) in the corner you can do it without landing right after j.S in the airm but it works from the ground, too.
Has anyone found a use for the fact that naked j.S is chargeable like Stone Smite, or is that “feature” just there to punish me for being lazy with my button releases? (Apologies if that was covered elsewhere in the thread and I missed it.)
I find it to be an incredibly worthwhile move, especially if the opponent knows not to pushblock his piledriver move (incredibly unsafe on block by the way). In the air, it stops his horizontal arc similarly to the piledriver, and it crosses up super easy. It’s safe on block, has a large hitbox, and easily comboable afterwards.
If you’re going to use DP, might as well add a tenderizer before the DP. If you are going for a kill, then XF the tenderizer into another tenderizer xx DP.
oh i never tried that. and the tenderizer works even after you already had a groundbounce in your combo?(cant test it atm)
It doesn’t unfortunately. The opponent will roll away after the 10th hit, though if you’re going for Death Penalty, you can cancel it before the ground-bouncing hit.

2 things I learned: His clothesline move keeps them on the floor for a long time. Wave dash into tenderizer looks hilarious, especially when dashing back.

I had a few different tricks going on… but since I’m trying to get vids for everyone out and then make 36 compilations (…) for SRK Wiki, I don’t get as much time per char as I’d like. I’m sure I missed a lot of badass stuff (with many chars lol). Can’t wait to go back and look them over. If you have anything badass, cap it up. I’d love to check it out!
