Beatdown 3 New Orleans, LA May22nd SSF4 singles and teams

Play N Trade Harvey is proud to announce their first tourney for SSF4 in New Orleans! This is not considered part of the ranbat series we have been holding before with vanilla SF4, so it is going to be a tournament just to see who to look out for with the new game coming out!

There will be a registration fee of $5.

SSF4 singles $5
SSF4 3v3 teams $5 per person.

Payouts for singles are
1st 70%
2nd 20%
3rd and 4th 5%

teams will just be

1st 85%
2nd 15%

Teams will start at 1pm, singles will be a little after teams are done.

Rules:
Teams will be single elim, one character per team. If people ask we will do a coin flip where the winner will determine the other team’s first player that goes up first.
Singles will be double elim, two out of three.

Tourney starts around 1pm. At least we would like to start it around then, so please come on time. If you are coming late please inform us ahead of time by calling me at 504-717-6976 and ask for Stone or the play n trade store and we will see what we can do.

YAYY Thanks Stone, because I started to get real salty about Pat announcing he wasn’t having anything.
hints one of the reason I was coming around that time I might push my date back instead of coming early May to coming late May and leaving in June. I can’t wait to play in a New Orleans tourney for a change!!!

Its coming up soon! This is the start of our new season and our last year champion is the mighty IFC Zangief. We’ll see if anyone will be able to take him down this year with all the new changes in SSF4. After this tournament we will start having our ranbats starting in June. I don’t believe anyone is able to take down our champion but we will see! Also hopefully you guys have your teams ready because our new orleans team champs will be returning. I can’t wait!

Yes hopefully we get more teams because teams is hella fun. It sucks when you get a 32 man singles tourney and only 5 teams play in team tourney…

Well it is 3 man teams. So that’s 15 people. I mean if you got 8 teams from a 32man tournament that would be about the max. But I hear ya. It is fun. The more the better. Ima try to make it out. But we’ll see.
