oh haha. we already did do something but you wasn’t on srk at the time. =/
when d.hyo gave me like what 25+ vids, we put them on the site and couldn’t keep them up ppl were d/l so much/so fast. it was crazy.
plus that generated a lot of interest in the other vids. a lot of ppl was asking through aim and on other sites about the other vids.
oh yeah, and i made threads on srk, gcc, combovideos.com to advertise the vids. with the exception of gcc(its dead, we have to face it), the threads got a lot of response.
plus we are known and respected by Dead Cell, Team Deceptacons, Azn-Anjelz, and of course Empire Arcadia. dj-b13 shouts us out in his vids. etc.

but yeah, i agree, the mission is not completed yet. this is why i had Magnetro, who said himself that he’d help me out a lot with ae and premiere, send them to me on aim. so we can get the same quality of videos that dj and magnetro has. you’ve seen Young Ic3’s editing skills? that is the new standard. the bar was raised dramatically.

by the way young, A LOT of ppl on aim was asking about the vid and telling me how good it was, etc. it was hot. oh, and i showed the vid to Sepia Soule of empire arcadia, and even to evil ryu aka rx and Triforce. said your vid was the best yet.

whats new: well, as you know i’m officially on break. time to do 50s vid among other things. make the dead cell and team deceptacons sites, etc. revamp ours.
time to share power for real now. gotta keep the vids up, even the old ones. and add new content to the site daily if possible. or at least weekly.
so shen and others i need your help. i’ll pm you soon about that.

and tnpr is making a new vid shortly.

oh, and if anybody in Beast Coast has art they’d like up on the site, lemme know. i’m going to add an art section soon. i figured some html stuff out that i didn’t know about before.

plus sepia from the Empire said he’d help us with the site anytime so.
we got a lot of friends in high places hehe. plus, do not forget that we have a lot of space. the Beast Coast site, PLUS the empire site.

the good part is that in order for magnetro to show me how to use the programs he gave me, i have to have footage, which i do and will be using. so one of those will be used for the latest vid.
i can’t wait til i can do it on my own though. =/

Being that I am a marvel player I think GGXX is sooooo much faster. Please it’s really not that fast. I also don’t think you have to think more in GGXX than in MvC2. Once again that’s just my opinion. GGXX can involve quite a bit of thinking or it’s quite mindless. I guess that more or less depends on the character your playing. Take I-no for example. She is constant setup after setup placing everything out at the right time. So ya she is constant thinking. Take Sol who is really mindless; have a few mixups sure (everyone has to,) than it’s just do random uppercuts and hope it hits. Than I can frc or rc or whatever it is than go into dust loops.

Ya I have a lack of exposure to the game. By choice mind you. There are great players around here so don’t think that’s the case. I just simply choose not to play the game because I don’t like it. Nothing more, nothing less.

BTW Motoki did you make it to the tourney up at cross creek?

yeah i was there(along with shinji) but i didn’t enter. i came late anyway(like around 2:30-3 o’clock). and i really came to the mall to pick up disgaea(lol).
saw some tekken action. saw a little marvel and a little 3s action but didn’t pay too much attention to cvs2. james aka mega won cvs2, and james aka jive won 3s. dunno who won marvel or tekken 5.

next tournament I’M taping some shit for our site.

Is that right Blake? Well your right; it’s true I don’t know anything about the game. I can only go by what people who know about the game tell me. Charles has said the same thing before to me about Sol. Maybe he was joking, who knows. It was when we were talking about him wanting me to start playing GG one time. He told me to pick up Sol and told me some stuff; such as the random DP. Funny that Crow said the same thing. Though he plays Eddie not Sol. Didn’t really interest me though. I did like playing Jam but than lost my copy of the game so I never did start playing. Oh well I guess. Not a real big deal.

Speaking of DP’s I heard you finally started using Sol’s DP more and it helped your game out a lot. It’s always good to see someone improving in a game they love. Good shit man.

Oh ya Motoki that was a Durham player that dominated Tekken 5. Didn’t lose a single match the entire tournament. Good stuff.

If Charles actually told you that, that’s a pretty disappointing thing to hear. He should know better than anyone that a random DP will get you killed, cuz he does it to me quite often.

I distinctly remember the look on Crow’s face when Jan Michael told him I don’t do random DPs at FR7. It was pretty priceless. And while I liked the praise that I received for such a feat, it makes me cry inside that all I have to do as a Sol player in order to impress people is to avoid using random DPs. That tells me the US as a whole still has a long way to go in this game. The entirety of the game’s best players in the US could come in here now and tell me I’m wrong and that random DPs are the shit and I still wouldn’t care.

And I dunno who told you that I started doing DPs more and my game improved because of it. I haven’t touched the game in about a month, and generally if I start doing a lot of DPs, it means my game is off and I’m nervous. Of course, when you avoid using a move and then start to do it repeatedly, people may not get used to the sudden switchup right away and they’ll get caught. Doesn’t suddenly mean that DPs make me a better player, especially when I feel like I’m playing worse.

In any case, you’re fully entitled to not liking the game. I’d just avoid making any sort of factual comment about it when you don’t play it, regardless of who told you what.
