there are quite a few people who will boot me if i join their rooms, or they will just not press READY when i join so that i will eventually leave and make me think they just aren’t around, but they are just scared to play me since I beat em all the time. and i know they are there, cause I will see them in the next champ round.
then there are the guys i constantly play and beat, and then they finally beat me and send me a message saying 'out of the 4389204832 matches we played that is the first time i beat you, gg!" which i respect because it shows he is trying to learn and get better.
if i see people on there that i always lose to, those are the guys i look to fight, because it means i need to learn something.
oh and in regards to you talking about DC’ing because of lag, i would never do that. if there is too much lag, i will just let my joystick sit and let them beat the crap out of me because i dont feel like playing in a laggy match where i will just get frustrated.
I kick Wireless players as often as I can notice them. (Easy to notice…bars go from 3-5-3-2-4-5 etc within 10 second in the 1v1 lobby). Once in the match…I keep playing. No point in leaving now…it’s not a money match.
People under the impression that any type of gaming can be done wirelessly is a complete tool that doesn’t deserve a PC/XBOX/PS3 in the first place.
If it was acceptable, LAN parties/tournaments/Arcades wouldn’t be plugging in.
I kept facing the same Bison over and over today and he beat me like six out of eight matches. I still played him when he kept joining my lobby though, I wanted to figure out why exactly my AA didn’t work and what I had to change, from what range what would work etc.
The only time I “dodge” people is if I play someone and it lags like all hell, if I see them again and remember them then I’ll play someone else instead.
many players play like that lawlz . . . just try playing Gief against a seth or a sim player hahahaha and prepare for a match up that’ll have you hair-pulling. I think you just need to practice your way around that. I have and I don’t always lose to them anymore. Also try using Seth or Sim lolz, it’s fun!

I’ve never intentionally disconnected from a game. My disconnect went from 0 to 3% over a couple of days at one point, because my cable modem was dying and cutting signal intermittently and the cable company were denying it.
If I make a lobby I’ll only kick someone with a high disconnect (>10%) or less than 3 bars. I’ve never avoided a particular icon or title, if i see deadly beauty or blood feud i know im usually in for a good fight.
do you main boxer? I’m pretty sure you’ve completely melted my face a couple of times.
lol yea i main boxer, i don’t recognize your name Jeemer though, but I may have played you before heh. I’m in the states and if you can get 3 bars or higher w/east coast USA players, then we may have ran into eachother
As a seth player sometimes I will jump up and down and hit hp all day when I somehow stumble in to a game with someone that doesn’t know how to play - it teaches them to learn what block is and I can’t be bothered to play properly against people that don’t know that.
Really if you can’t counter someone spamming such a punishable move your character forum is that way >>>>>
Ease of DCing was easily the only good thing about the PC version. Sorry, *******, but after the 5th Ryu in a row i’m done. As in: mommy was wrong and it is not, in fact, my obligation to sit there for 2 minutes while you display a complete inability to do even challengemode combos on a completely immobile player. And i sure as fuck am not obligated to sit there even longer while your retarded ass stops attacking as though you’re being honorable or some shit, because being a scrub by definition means you’re honestly enough of a fucking moron to think that you’re worth anyone’s time. Same for flowchart Ken/Guile/Sagat/Gief. You get to whine like a queer in some ragequit thread somewhere, i get to go do something more interesting. Win/win.
It’s too much of a pain in the ass to do on consoles, and i miss it immensely.
Nothing worse than playing a chun li … They all sucks
From now … i Call PC chun li. Chun pattern …
I actually rage quit 4 -6 time in 6 month . WHich’s not very bad really.i don’t know … I’m just a human and sometime i’m in a very bad mood.Each time though i regretted it after.
Personnaly i don’t give a damn about rage quitter
When i play my Sagat in G2 … I almost always get 1 rage quit each time through the championship … Or sad loser that resolve to spam the same crap …Man i played some blanka that spammed the whole second round electricity or taunt … I never laughed like that … So i let’s him win a round and just give him more hope for the last round by being less agressive …or a chun pattern player that spammed leg attack … while i was laughing she finished me with her spam…Bunch of scrubs
I’m a bit drunk and tired … That excuse my shit talking. Now let’s continue.
Some player when they,re being pressured and destroyed.Resolve to spam something.Like Shoryuken or leg attack or electricity…SHoryuken SHOOOOOOOOOOOORYUKEN.(I WILL GET HIM SHOOOOOOOOOOOOORYUUUUUUUUUUUUKEN)… :looney: … Chill down
I imagine the guy in my head with his red face and mashing shoryuken .
if I have a really bad connection with someone I usually just let them beat me, no point wasting my effort when I’m not going to learn anything from the match anyways. this is only from the get go unless some really lame shit occurs, like my opp. doing 3 shoryus in a row, me trying to ultra the last one as they land, then somehow nothing comes out.
what I like though is when I clearly indicate that I’m going to let them win and they have full metre, then they proceed to do something like jump in sweep. like fuck, what could be a 15 second procedure somehow takes these idiots 45 seconds.
@ above: are PC Chuns really that bad? I find most G2 Chuns I play are really solid, and even if I manage to beat them I usually learn something as a Chunner myself.
PC chuns are TERRIBLE trash who get by simply because her pokes are the most irritating in the game and both hazan shu and the auto-crossup are buffed by lag. I never met a single one that didn’t mash kicks most of the match.
I get 2 bars and never experience any lag what so ever online. Also dodging someone because of the character they choose is pretty damn lame. Although as a Sagat player, I agree with Machineking1313 that I don’t like Sims that do one move during the match. I just have to try a little harder to zone him properly. I stick around in player matches even when I’m completely outclassed because that’s the only way I’ll get better, sometimes some guy will beat me 10 in a row and I’ll continue to play him.
Nope. All my DCs are caused by me not remembering to plug in the battery. But I agree with a lot of what has been said about scrubby players. That stuff would never work off-line.
Some people deal with it in a really strange way. When someone DC’s on me, I mumble “whatever” or something, then get back to my matches. But there are guys who immediately run to the computer without knowing whether it was just a bad connection or not, and publish the opponents’ gamertag on SRK. I met such a guy once.
It was the most normal situation ever: No one had a significant lifelead or position advantage, then suddenly the connection crashed. So I message the guy and said “wtf happened there?” and he was like "oh, you didn’t DC? I was gonna put your tag on SRK for being a DCer!!!"
That’s so annoying, man. And then they probably invent some stories like: “Yeah mannnn i was about to deal the final blow to double perfect him, but then he quit. He was sooo saltyyyyy”
I only dodge players who have less than 4 bar connections on either system. I also dodge players of lesser skill because those matches eventually get boring. I should start not finishing the rest of the match if the lag is getting to me because as a Chun player, shit gets annoying when I can’t land my links due to lag. I don’t wanna DC during a match because of lag but I’m always tempted. As for bullshit strategies, I always try to come up with a way to beat it, which could be my downfall, but I like to fight fire with fire. I could only with the netcode for SF4 was Blazblue quality.
Ive gotten a couple of quitters before the match even starts in ranked when they see me pick bison, as for dodging i dont really i dont usually play 1 bars unless they have 0% DC.
