Did you guys record any footage?
I tried to get my DVD recorder to work but it had lag… LAME. Oh well thanx to Ryan for hosting it, Tariq for organizing this, and everyone else for the GG’s
No, I don’t think we recorded footage… although I swear I saw somebody using a camera phone.
Either way, I think it was alot of fun. Alot of the matches were really close, with those crazy a-sliver-of-life endings. I’d say everybody played really well, and showed great skill
Ryan played really well. No anger, just pure concentration, and it was pretty evident. You beat Tao one game out of three. Props props. Also, thanks for having the tourney at your place and having all that food. Special thanks to Tariq for organizing.
glad everyone had fun! yeah mad props to ryan for gettin the food! i think everyone put out a valiant effort haha except me i was off my game for the semi’s, i really thot this iwas the time to defeat tao…if only i had the same mental focus i did in our money matches hahaa but tao was on another level near the end as you all saw he stepped it up

Best tourney yet… the food was the best part actually, but not to take away from any other aspect… 4 setups worked really nicely and apparently there was going to be 5… good games to all, I only got to play JJJ and Tariq in ST, maybe next time we’ll have a tourney, and I didn’t get to play CVS2 either, but I think everyone was having too much fun so there wasn’t time to do everything… got beasted by Sal and Andre in the tourney, no surprise I think, and Tao you were right - it took me several losses in casual to even start to get used to a real Yun… scene is getting stronger… good matches vs. Hanz as well. I actually have footage of Tao vs. Tariq, and a match of Tariq vs. Victor’s Dudley, before my camera’s battery ran out.
Do you think you could host that on youtube?

THanks again man for hosting this thing, IMO was a major success and deserves an encore. I’ll tape more matches next time too.
Good games to everyone I played with. Theres still a lot for me to learn but its nice getting out once in a while to play

This tourney was overall very well organized. Make sure you organizers post tourneys to SRK because thats probably the only way I can contact you guys
