TOURNEY: SATURDAY NOVEMBER 25 2006 4PM START TIME

ENTRY FEE: 5 dollars (oh noes i know thats breaking the bank for some of you)

PRIZE PAYOUT: 1st 70%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 10%, 4th Consolation prize, 5th Consolation prize

TOP 5 PLAYERS IN BC WILL BE HONORED AS THE ELITE and their names will be etched in as “the 1337 3s players of this year!” Songs will be sung of their names and their seed will procreate with many beautiful women!!! Doesn’t it make you want to place TOP 5!!!

It is time for for all of the BC 3S players to show each other what they got!
The tournament will be standard tournament format double elimination and on consoles. There will be AMERICAN and JAPANESE sticks and the tournament will be played on the arcade perfect ps2 console version of the game.

Bring your own sticks and PADS with your name on them stick some tape on or something and write your name on as to not get it lost. NO MEMORY CARDS ALLOWED unless approved by me.

Tournament play rules:

Oro and Urien unblockables are fair game

But no other crazy game breaking glitches if someone catches you and reports it to me, you’re out of the tourney simple as that. Each player will play a set of best of 3 NOT race to 3 winner will advance the losers will be knocked into the losers bracket which gives them a glimmer of hope in winning the losers and taking on the winners bracket finalist. So you are NOT eliminated if you lose your first set however if u lose a second set in the losers then you are out hence the double elimination. Sorry most of you know the rules I just have to reiterate it for those who don’t.

Best of all This Promises to be one of the LARGEST console tournaments in BC tournament history with the amount of quality 3s play I have seen as of late this is set to be a surefire good rocking time!!!

Oh and if you are more then 1 hour late I will not let you enter for 5 dollars you will have to do something that makes me laugh a dance perhaps? SO DONT BE LATE UNLESS U WANT TO DANCE IN FRONT OF ALL THE PLAYERS! LOLOL jk i wont make u dance just please don’t be late!!

Literally everyone who has ever posted in 604 and lives in the lower mainland should attend. Ill host it upstairs and downstairs. Possibly three setupts. Just so its not crowded. hopefully we can BBQ dinner. hotdogs and burgers or something.

Hey,

I just got the US sticks. The US border gave me a real hard time, thinking I’m smuggling stuff. Anyway, the buttons suck like hell, the stick feels pretty good, but the box is kinda too light for it’s height (tilts), so I’m gonna try to weigh it down.

Ryan got one too, so there will be one in the Tourney for sure. The buttons and joystick will be swapped with real US arcade parts, so the US-stick players will have a better chance.

I think the best way is to pair the weakest players with the strongest. Like NHL playoffs. Whats that called seeding. but with a losers bracket then maybe its not that important. …

so that makes three tvs and if hanz an gian bring their gear thats three setups

we will just need someone to bring a tv in and we can have 4 tvs running which would make it over in like 2 hours
