Easy mode isn’t there for you. It’s actually not a bad idea so the casual people can play the game and get the story and not get turned off by the difficulty…you do want Kamiya to make money don’t you?

I actually did try Easy Automatic in DMC4’s Bloody Palace, and I ended up getting my ass whooped because I couldn’t choose which combo I wanted to do. I’m not at all concerned about the Bayonetta one.

Looks like I may have to import this piece when it hits Japan in late October for the PS3 version.
Keep in mind that all video footage shown on this game is from the 360 build. Everywhere that this game has been demoed, even the one i played at comic con, is running on the 360.

I wouldn’t. 360 demo kits are cheap and plentiful compared to PS3 debugging stations, and DVD replication is also cheaper than BD replication for demos (although they could just push it to the HDD or emulate either way), so it makes perfect sense why things are often demonstrated on 360. It also helps that XBL titles are required to have trial versions when their PSN counterparts aren’t, so a demo will have to be built.
But you should know all that already, so stop spreading FUD. :arazz:
i like that easy mode. lets remember, there are all kinds of gamers, and im sure there is a handicap person somewhere excited to know he/she can enjoy this game with one hand. it makes for some fun play if your having a get together with family, and you want your grandpa to play with you or something, and you can be like, just push these buttons. lol.

you know what i want to know, and judging from the play i would say yes, but is bayonetta going to be very rewarding for those players dedicated master players of the devil may cry series who really took that shit to another level. i mean, some dmc videos make the game look like some type of crazy action flick. still to this day i love some good trickster, and i love how brea stayed in the air for so long using trickster in that one video. like, im sure they might have thought the potential is there to do something like that, but to see it done is just amazing. players have disect those games so much that they can do such amazing stuff, that actually just makes you want to play the game to learn that shit. so im just looking forward to some crazy ass combos coming from this.
i like that the game appears to be pretty fast paced. no retard man slow run like in dmc4. she seems to be constantly hauling ass. producer says the boss fights are the highlights of every game, but it really stands out for bayonetta, so that should be interesting. i like the pace, creativity, sexy lead character, and im a sucker for anything supernatural with combos. please dont fail bayonetta. i think if its a very good game, even the haters will pick it up, put away their gay porn, and be like, yo, this shit is dope.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this game. I’ve been keeping up with the videos and I know for a fact that I will enjoy this game. DMC4 kind of dissapointed me so hopefully this will do me justice even though I still love dmc4. Looks like I’m going to be putting crazy hours into this game learning some insane combos.

This is really disappointing. I’ve been hyped for this game since it was announced but if the PS3 version isn’t at least as good as the 360 version, PS3-only owners are really getting dumped on. Hopefully they can get it to an acceptable level, but since they probably have less than a month, I’m not sure.

Yeah. There are usually a lot of code optimizations that go into PS3 games toward the end of the development cycle, so often games will seem shitty until then.
I’m really hoping that too, but don’t games usually go gold one or two months before release? And since the PS3 is bigger (compared to the 360) there than here, I wouldn’t think they would fix it for the rest of the world and not Japan.
