So, any word on an install option patch that will fix the load time problems with the PS3?
Dodge offset, Is that air dodge? I air dodge all the time.
I am about to get some serious playtime in after I listen to this podcast.
Okay. Thanks!
None that I know of. If Sega was lazy enough to not write code that uses the PS3’s six SPUs, it’s doubtful they’ll ever release a patch fixing this.
IIRC, you hold a button down after you dodge to continue a combo, but it’s not the skills you buy though. I’m not sure what the timing is for it. It’s not something I do often because I’m not sure how to do it 100% just yet.
No problem. Also that is how you do dodge offset and the timing pretty much is after you dodge. You’ll want to just finish your combo as you would normally do. You can also dodge offset out of panther transformation/slash too, but that timing is a lot different.
On a side note, if you parry that beam the angels with the big trombones shoot out you get pretty much a full magic bar even if you have the full magic stock. And it looks pretty sick too.:smokin:
Angel slayer mode is too much fun! I found out it’s 5 verses only but there’s tons of waves within each verse.
I’m hearing some reports that the 360 version runs better without the hdd install.
Wow the 360 version actually has an install option? OMG shit on PS3 more platinum games wtf.
Dope mode, I struggled quite a bit I think you will like the very last fight.
I don’t think something like this can even be done via a patch. They would have to rewrite the whole game code to use SPUs, and I don’t think a patch has that kind of scope. Doing that for the game itself would probably also take a lot of time and resources, so that’s probably why Sony’s intervention in the late stage of development didn’t have that much impact.
Anyway, I think Bayonetta runs kind of funny?like the akimbo guys in MW2. They all have their backs completely straight and run like they’re T-1000.
Also, (the original) Fly Me to the Moon is actually my favorite song, so I’m loving the remix.
Sep with the PS3 tech assist! Thanks for that.
T-1000 run is just fine with me. When I first saw the first ten minutes of Bayonetta on Nico, I was like “Fly Me to the Moon? Really?”, but since playing the game the song has really grown on me. I absolutely love it now.
Microsoft released an update to allow HDD installs a while back and games from then on have this option. Oddly enough, some games run horribly with the hdd install and are better off uninstalled. However, you’ll have to put up with the annoying noises from the 360 if it’s not installed. It’s 10x louder than the dreamcast. PS3 games seem to be much better on the HDD installs, though.
Anyway, how do i get the item that’ll allow me to fight the optional boss to show up in the store?
How do I HDD install for Bayonetta? I don’t recall seeing an option like that.
To get the Platinum Ticket, you need to have 10 million halos before you are given the option to buy it. Once you’re able to, the cost is 999,999 halos, and you only lose the halos if you beat the boss or die and choose not to continue.
Ok, guess i have to start farming again once i beat Hard moce.
To install games you have the disc in the drive and be in the 360 main menu. When you see the game is loaded and ready to play when you’re in the 30 main menu, press Y to go into a sub menu. You’ll see the option to install the game.
Thats the first thing I thought when I saw the trailer of him at the end. First you whip his ass in Resident Evil 5, now he’s in Bayonetta? That nigga gets around.
Just finished the game on Normal last night and went back and got all the missing chests/Alfhiems I was missing. This is one of the first games I’ve played since RE4 where a game has come along and steamrolled its competitors in its genre so completely. Also Odette (the ice skates) are the coolest looking things ever. Please tell me someone has found a good use for them.
Halo3/ODST are the only games the run better off the disc than installed to HD. DOAX2 (Crackdown got a patch) is the only game without an install-to-HD option.
Besides one courtyard with screen tearing (during the exploration mode, no screen tearing once enemies showed up oddly enough), I ran into no technical problems with Bayonetta on 360 installed to HD.
no its not. its when you are doing a extended combo like holding down a button, and while you hold it down you hit the dodge button. you will know that you have done it correctly because durring the dodge she actually shots her guns off, and right after the dodge ends you can continue your combo, so you can be like P,P,K, dodge, P (and the weave will come out after the dodge.)
im outi
Roberth
you move faster with them on? lol. Also you can walk on Lava (either in human or panther form.) on the burning City chapter. Otherwise, they’re good for the freezing and getting around. I have mine equipped with the sword so yea…they really don’t come off for me.
They look cool and you have that badass little multi-ice kick in midair with them, but I don’t use them regularly. If I want to move faster, I’ll go Panther.
Buying this shit tonight…omgomgomg I can’t wait.
If ou think it’s so damn good then you should buy it now so Sega and Platinum get your money vote and decide to make more.
I’m not sure where that’s coming from, but I installed mine and it runs great, can’t see anything wrong.
Oh, and as soon as I found out about Dodge Offset, that just blew my mind. It’s literally the most useful thing ever, and I use it on pretty much every damn fight. It’s too good, and I think essential for playing Bayonetta the right way, especially on harder modes. Just started Normal mode again, I want to clear it at least one more time before I head up to hard. Games should not be allowed to be this addicting, I’m telling you guys.
I think he meant in comparison to the PS3 version
but I didn’t even know it had HDD install. It was running smooth as shit without it so I didn’t bother to look.
