I can understand you not wanting to drive 2 hours to Waco just to play some video games, but making a whole post about it with such a sour attitude is pretty lame IMHO.
It’s no wonder I retired from fighting games so long ago, it’s because I don’t want to deal with dumb shits like you who only know how to play crap like Capcom & Namco games and even then you only play top tier stuff. Yeah, so you won a local tournament. Big f**kin’ whoopdie do!

What did you think of the Round Robin setups?? Were most of the finals good enough?? I think they were.
I think we had a good turnout and it was alot of fun to play with some of the old school players that I haven’t seen in well over 8 years (like Mop & JohnP). It’s amazing that alot of us still have some good skill to play the way we did.
As for keeping in touch, I think just getting in the chat on Thursdays at 9:00 PM on a weekly basis would be good to keep in touch w/o the use of the forums and see what’s coming up for the weekend.
I really liked the Round Robin, seems to make things alittle more balanced.
I think I had the most fun in ST and MK2, been a long time since I’ve seen some good MK2 matches. We will definately have to get some UMK3 in next time…and some Samurai Shodown.

As for Toan, fuck him. You can’t judge any city. No one knows a tenth of the people on these forums let alone enough people to judge on that massive of a scale. There are good players in every city, and until you play all of them you can’t say shit.

I’m sure he will beat me at 3s and MvC2, I suck at both. But I will play anyone at any fighting game whether I have played it before or not. But to try and judge an entire city?!? LOL no one can.
