i might miss this tourney guys, i gotta go home and pick up my parents from the airport. They should be coming in on friday night, maybe i should be able to leave saturday morning and be back in time for the tourney. i havent heard from eddie so im assumin hes not coming this weekend. maybe next weekend. 3s is getting a bit boring. owning. 
I wish you guys were hardcore KI or MK2/UMK3, I got a ton of ppl for really good competition. We all kinda got burnt out on the whole SF thing years ago…After Alpha I quit for a long time.
If any of you guys don’t know how to play KI real well…we wouldn’t mind helping ya out.

I used to be into MK, but that was a long time ago. I always though Mk was cool though. KI is tight, just combo all day.
You should get back into Street Fighter. Thrid Strike,MvC2,CvS2, the list goes on…
If yall need help learning, we can teach the stuff we know too.
All the games you listed are the same game with a different name.
MvC, MvC2, CvS2, 3s, same basic fighting system, same strats work on each one.
I am trying to achieve diversity. Playing only Capcom games is too much uniformity for us, if you break those titles up and squeeze KI, UMK3, Last Blade, Samurai Showdown, and some other more distinct titles in there it’s makes the competition all the more fun.

Joe, the only reason we play 3rd strike is because the other games have a huge gap in skill level. From what Ive seen in mvc2, no one knows what theyre doing. ST is boring for repetitive play. 3rd strike is just the balance between skills of everyone. I played John and Brian a lot in 3rd strike. Where were you at? Do you not like the game or what? What happened to the Joe that would go home and practice 3s and come back with some dope stuff. As for the allie or turtle debate, wtf are you talking about? Turtles are you guys who game with john for the past few years. I’m the new guy, i’m not a turtler or a ts member. you dont have to team up to be good, despite what all the team beast coast and other bullshit i see. Everyone just step up the game and wreckshop on all the non waconians. Represent to the fullest. Killeen who? Joe you have a good Ryu since you started playing, I want to play you more because you never really jump, which is good. I want to play more against the non jumpers. peace

Also, sorry about the long post, but if you guys are getting tired of losing against me, do something and step up your game. I didn’t play for a lot of the summer. You guys did, but I’m still winning. It must not be the practice, but maybe the mentality. Mind games are the best in 3rd strike. Can’t wait to compete.

Man read the whole thing before u start typin away. as for me I got my game up from wat I use to play like, in case u didn’t know I never really played 3rd strike since its arrival just here and there, but now that I joined up wit these guys I began playin more than ever, to tell u the truth my 3rd strike gamin only started this year. as for wat fanatic is tryin to say, I can agree to that to a certain extent, maybe its not a bad idea to play some those games, keep an open mind about things like this, yeah we should play other games but not stray from 3rd strike, the games seam repetitive cause the moves are the same or the pace of the game is the same, maybe KI or Mortal Kombat is not ur game. everyone likes or dislikes certain games. Also if we lose to u, so wat its ok, it lets us know where we stand as far as skill is concerned which is jack shit sometimes(lol).

Now Marcus I know your skill level is higher in some games. I know where your coming from, and I know you talk “shit” to motivate us. Now some people can take it the wrong way. Not that I’m saying its wrong, but we joke around . Sometimes we post things that cant be taken seriously and vice-versua. And yes we do get tired of the same games. I love 3S to death,some not as much. REMEMBER we havent played anyone else but ourselves. I know we need to get waaaay better, we KNOW this. But it “sounds” like you post like we dont care IMO. I really care how we do, but it takes time. But some of your posts can turn people off, from the way their worded, and can take em the wrong way. Not that it bothers me, but peeps can see it a diffrent way, than your true intentions .But I know talking mess is your speciality, so lets leave it as that.
Now Joe, I know where your coming from. Hell, I get tired of the same games too. Yes you are improving, from what I can see. I know we kinda talked about this subject a few weeks back. But we’re all friends here, and we’re always gonna have eachother backs. Motivating each other, taking care of each other etc…
So if it seems like some us are getting on your case about your game or talking down to you. Dont take it as a bad thing, we all kidd around, so take as a tool to improve.
Remember, I want us to get good to compete. It seems like I post this speech every 3 weeks. But yes we do need to step up, we can do it. But yeah we need to switch it up to get over boredom. Still taking the main games serious, but not playing so much, its not fun to play, becoming a chore to play.
I dont want no hostility between anyone here. I dont like it period. SO lets drop it, and move on. Yeah I know what you mean. But the games I listed are played on a very larger scale than the games yall play. Thats what we play. But its always good to have some variety and some comp.

I didnt want you guys to travel just yet until you had a solid game, because it sucks going for an hour-2 drive and getting owned and driving back and having no idea why you lost in the first place. im on yalls side. Im not pickin on you or anything, i just would rather play you than john or brian. I think i have their game down now. Need new blood if you know what i mean. No disrespect. the only reason i talk a bit of trash when i play is to keep it interesting. MK and KI arent as competitive as they use to be; there is a dying crowd, but not really. i mean, you could play it, but why learn combos and things if no one really plays it or has it up and running readily. i play cs to get away from marvel and 3s, but i always come back to 3s at the end of the day. aside from combos and supers, theres a shitload of mind games to 3s that i, along with TS, am trying to master. anyway until we meet again. 
Tomorrow’s tourney has been canceled. I had a few guys drop out today so numbers will be too low to even bother.
My six turned into three, guess we can try again next weekend.
