So here’s some exciting news for SRK BFBC2 fans…
My brother who is currently hosting a ventrilo server is starting a 16 player server. This is going to be reserved for Squad Rush and Squad Death Match games. We decided this while finding out how infuriatingly difficult it is to actually start a game of two squads set up the way they want to be at the beginning of the round. In fact most of the time you have to try for a good long while before you and three of your friends can all face off against another squad.
Well we’re fixing that for ourselves right now and we’ll want other people who are interested in these game modes to join us. Me and a couple of my friends will have admin status just so that we can freely shuffle the teams around so that everyone is playing with the friends that they intend to be playing with. You’ll also be free to join our vent server which will have separate rooms for separate squads and a main lobby.
And by the way, the server is being set up as I post this.
Decided to finish off the Medic line today (Last line left), got the M249 SAW, and shit that thing is beastly with Mag ammo. In Close to Medium range I mow through people, although it can be reasoned that the M60 is better for longer ranges.
I’ve been playing the assault class, and they are A LOT of fun. They are more beastly to me than medics. Right now, i’m more Assault, then medic, then engineer, then recon. For some reason, the engineer/recon classes are hard to play with…

Ugh, I haven’t been able to play this lately.
Whenever I turn on the PS3, my mind/body automatically focuses on FF13. q_q
I’ll definitely be getting some solid BC2 games in this week. I NEED to take a break from FF13 or I’ll burn myself out and won’t be as hyped when I beat it.
I stayed up playing this until 5.30 am last night, so I’m a little burned out. This evening I decided to try out the other game modes besides Rush, and I’m not a big fan of Conquest or Death Squad. Is it just me? In Conquest, it feels very chaotic and no direction… In Death Squad, it feels deserted and barren. Everyone hiding and not daring to poke their heads out. I feel that having a solid group of friends to play Death Squad would be great. Rush mode, for me at least, is where all the fun is. Hopefully they will add a couple more solid stages for Rush Mode.

I don’t think so. Last night, I switched to Assault and leveled him up. The character is insane fun and deadly!!! Blowing up shit left and right and providing smoke is really beastly. When I see a building, I create my own door by blasting a whole in the wall and killing the poor motherfucker hiding in their to boot. I was raking in the points. Compared to Medic, I never do as good. Maybe it’s my medic configuration… I don’t know.
Has ANYONE on the PC version gotten VOIP to work yet?

Man, there was some crazy CQC in the very corner behind the 1st A M-Com station on Port Valdez. Nothing but Medics 4v4 in the corner. That was fun. :lol:
Yeah, you just have to install Skype, Ventrilo, or Team Speak first. In all seriousness, the in-game voice chat blows hard.
The ingame voice sucks on xbox too, Me and my friends always use party chat because you can hear people better on it.
