Since there were complaints about the new TVs being laggy, we will attempt to remedy that. At least one of the 40" TV from our first event BA #3 will be back (since there were no complaints about lag from that event, fyi it’s a SONY 40XBR2). We will get a second one to replace the other 40 incher. So don’t fret. Things will be back to normal.
After a 2 week break here we are entering October with a 3 Game “BattleField Arcadia” tournament. As you already know we will be hosting Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Street Fighter 4 and we’re going to try Blaz Blue 1 more time.
We look forward to seeing the community come out and use these tournaments to enhance your skills. The purpose of BattleField Arcadia is help develop New York City and its neighboring states to become better in Fighting Games. The Ambitious will be invited to the Exclusive “BattleField Arcadia ARC Invitational”.
In order to reach that level you have to get better and the only way to get better is to play the best and the best is what Empire Arcadia provides. Now as I have studied many fighting gamers are not interested in actually evolving their skill in the games they play to become better. In fact they rather spend their money at tournaments that they feel they have a better chance of winning and against players that have not mature to the level of the professionals, rather than spend that money at a tournament in which you can learn in which will benefit you in the long run.
Players such as Chris Hu, Rico, Mariodude and Ben Fong have defeated some of Empire Arcadia’s finest and they have reached that level by competing and training against strong opponents. Do you have that ambition to compete in BATTLEFIELD ARCADIA #6!
Come face the Legendary “Justin Wong” as he will return to his Chinese Roots and main “Fei Long” throughout the entire tournament! Witness a new level of play. Also we will be holding the “Gods of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Exhibition” where The 3 Champions of MVC2 will face off in a first to 5. This match will be complimentary as Sanford and Yipes will not be attending Seasons Beatings due to a work order that was confirmed yesterday.
2007, 2008 and 2009 Champions will collide! BE THERE!
