BattleField 3 is just around the corner for consoles. With that in mind. I am looking for a solid team. I prefer to have a team with mics. This way, it’s easier for us to interact vs running around doing stupid stuff.
So, if you played previous BattleField game (PS2 or PS3). Type in your Ingame name here and what class you prefer to be.
Mainly play conquest, not a huge rush fan. Not so much concerned about people with mics as I am people that play together to take objectives and win as opposed to worrying about kill counts. Nothing burns me more than when it’s just a couple of us on my team trying to take/hold objectives while the other majority of idiots on my team are sniping or playing around with helicopters.
That’s what I hate about it. I want a solid team. An enjoyable. It’s annoying to run around and find no one to provide health or ammo. If you have a mic. That would be great.
You can add me if you like however I’m not buying game right away until maybe a day or two after it’s release to see general public’s review on this game. I wasn’t satisfied with the BF3 Beta and hope actual game is as good as they say it will be. I have a Bluetooth so no worries about that.
Question 2 you GFB:
Why did you change your tagname?? Got tired of that mystic name on ya or what?
1: The beta was FULL of glitches at first. However, it was adjusted and it’s really good now.
2: The reason is because MysticGaming is full. I can’t add any more players nor do I wish to delete players because some of them are COD players.
It was a weird choice for a Beta, at least it was if they were trying to show what Battlefield was all about and what sets it apart. A wide open conquest map with lots of vehicles which could showcase the amount of crazy stuff that can happen in Battlefield would have been a better choice. I got hooked on Battlefield after playing the Xbox1 demo of BF2:MC (which was on Backstab) for hours and hours. All the different vehicles and options, the tense back and forth when you have two good teams playing, it was awesome and showed how BF was different from all other FPS. I picked up BF2:MC on launch as a result.
The fairly close quarters, all infantry, Rush map they chose for this Beta just isn’t very representative of what BF is all about IMO. It’s almost like they chose it to try to attract the CoD players. Or maybe it just made for a better Beta to get the data they wanted, who am I to say? All I know is I can’t wait, Bad Company 2 has been somewhat deserted.
I played BattleField 2: Modern Combat. That game was off the hook. We had 3 copies of the game. I had two copies and my friend had his. He’ll come to my house and we’ll have 3 TVs next to each other and we’ll roll as a team. Modern Combat was the best Battlefield experience I had. The abilities to use the jeep, helicopter, minichopper, etc. As for the map; backstab was the most popular one out of all. I’ll see 10 rooms of that lobby every single day.
As for Battlefield Bad Company 2. It’s still active (not a lot) but it’s reasonable. They’re waiting for BattleField 3. They aim in Battlefield 2 Bad Company to attract Call of Duty fans. But, now it’s more how it used to be. The ability to prone which was a beast in Modern Combat. That’s the whole reason. To ensure they bring back the old game to it. The difference is the recoil is much harder to use than Call of Duty and the aim isn’t easy as Call of Duty.
However, Battlefield 3 is doing a great job. Can’t wait to get it on launched date and whoop some ass.
I heard from a few friends that BF3 online exp is going to be garbage. Also that all those “Nice” graphics is just story mode but not online. For me personally, I’m holding off on this game for few days and prefer MW3 over this game because of it’s success.
You heard? There’s a difference between your aspect and theirs. The only reason they hate is because it’s too much for them. I can’t blame them if they are scrubs that loves auto-aim and health regeneration. Overall, Call of Duty is a mainstream game. A game where it’s easy to get kill-streak unlike Battlefield 3. Again, the demo was a buggy one. However, just before it ended. The game was running smooth and all bugs were removed.
I, will always be getting Modern Warfare 3 because I know my friends loves Call of Duty due to a pace game while BattleField 3 takes time and strategic to win. You can’t just run and get hit. Recover your health and continue to run.
The moment you have 5% health in Battlefield. You better pray that your friend/squad spawns behind your ass and gives you health.
Done with the scrubs that are into Call of Duty likes it takes actual skills when it doesn’t.
BF3 is a piece of shit on console online. I lost 6K worth of exp cause the network crashed (and I know because I didn’t gain a level when I only needed 100 more pts and I got 600 before the network went down. Then there’s still that issue where I can’t enter a game with my buddies in the same squad.
Anyone who backs this now is a retard and obviously sucks dick.
It’s not going to be perfect. It happened to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty: 4, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and other FPS on it’s first release week.
I was skeptical about BF3 but after “renting” game and realizing that you have to purchase $10 online pass to play that totally killed it. Been playing campaign looks good, feels good but brings me back to square one. I’m not about to go and purchase an online pass on a rented game for few days which pretty much forces you to buy the game new. MW3 has no such feature and you can rent game before you buy and comfortably feel game’s online feature. MW3 has the advantage in my book. I know $60 is nothing but I always tend to “rent before you buy” a game. I’ll probably buy BF3 of from somebody on Craigslist in a few months.
You’re going to bitch about a 10 dollar fee? Even if you purchase it from someone. You’ll still need the pass. So, why not pay for it. So, when the price drops down. You can buy it for cheap and won’t have to worry about the fee
Not bitching about it but you know damn well you and I don’t want games to be developed this way. Like I said before, I can careless about a $10 purchase since I make that in about 20 minutes at work but it surely sucks to the less “unfortunate” people trying to play this game used online.
You still can share your downloaded code with other players. So, it doesn’t matter. There’s a reason for this. Developers are not making money from companies that resales the game or allows the game to be rented. That’s the reason they are doing it.
