It will be there - if people want to run it - they can run it. I’m hoping to have enough consoles and TVs for most games to have their own setup - at least major games. CvS2 and MvC2 will definatly have at least one maybe more permanent sets. Namco will get its own TV - but that is split with GGXX. The other TVs will be more variable - like SF3, SF2X, SFA3, and copies of whats on the other TVs like Namco or GGXX. ITs worth it for any fighting game person to come up - there wil lbe comp for everything. If you have a joystick that you need looked at come around 5. I officially open up at 5 - but its for those people who aren’t really good and want to get some gaming in before the “pros” come in - and during this time I’ll help anyone with joystick problems. Hopefully I’ll finish my stick sometime today or tommorow - I just need to do one sodder point that broke and wire all the buttons together - I’ve ust been real lazy - its been sitting around since the second BoB in April.

Yes there is easier access. I’m not sure if you remember parking well - but right next to my apt is an emergency door - well after constant people going thru it - they turned the alarm off - so you can use that - just knock on the window first so I can open it.

inside the actual gated community - you’ll end up going to the right at the circle its one way - and go almost all the way AROUND the community - I’m the last building before you see the circle again - and the parking lot is just a big circle around. Again - I also recommend getting a temp parking permit from security. You should be oh kai just parking - but its the safe way - they’ve been a bit anal about it.

As it stands right now - I personally will have 2 TVs, one projector, and just for kix I’m going to setup my small screen for just random matches. you can park anywhere with a temp pass - without one you have to park outside the gate. We got the apt setup for the most part now - just need some more DCs and maybe PS2s for GGXX - I only have one PS2.

Man…im kinda pissed that i was’nt there for the tournament…in anycase it was cool got to meet some cool people and plays some cvs2 and ggxx so i guess it was time well spent…by the way…who won cvs2 and who won mvx2
YOOOOOOOOOO just got back from the battle of baltimore. that shit was hot. big shout outs to will for hosting this gathering…we MD/VA gamers really needed this. met a lot of cool people man, those mvc2 and cvs2 matches were too entertaining. i dont know who won the cvs2 tournament, but it was steve was sparatik for losers finals when i left, then the winner plays rugal b. yo man mvc2 = life.
ps did anyone else donate money to will to help pay for the sodas and stuff besides me? 
EDIT: there was no mvc2 tournament, there were only 4 people who signed up and we didnt have enough dreamcasts to go around :mad:
Steve won cvs2, jason got 2nd, sparatik got 3rd. No marvel, i was banned from entering and still no one signed up. James was banned from entering cvs2. Crazy upsets, must sleep, will post more tomorrow.

Naw but on the real - thanx to those who came -e specilally from far away - I know the feeling of the long drive - I hope you felt it was worth. I think in the future - if I ever do it again I’m going to start at like 7 or 8 - since no one really starts getting there until 7. I’d also like to thank Dave for the TVs. While I didn’t voice it I was upset someone blew out MY DC. I also didn’t appreciate the mess peopel left without trying to clean up - however I do want to thank those who did help clean up. B-more held down the “non-video game” talks. That shit was funny and real. I had a better time outside not talking about games than I did inside talking about them. For certain reasons - I’ll retract from details on convos - but there were some real funnny shit being said - got to love his story telling methods “sticking your hand in the same butter” :lol: - that whole convo was priceless - so was the whole B-more club music thing “boom boom boom boom” - lol :lol:
Mucho props to the CvS2 players. It was nice watching people really go at it - and while not an “official” Apex type tournament - you still could feel some of the same types of tension and emotions - when the two R2 Bisons double KO’ed themselves - the entire room erupted like Laker’s fans when D. Fish hit that shot with .4 left on the clock. Maybe I’ll start having a specific tourny at each one in the future if I have anymore of these for those who don’t know I’m moving to another building - with less room, but I don’t know how much less - I forgot who said it - but they were right - MD really needed this.
