Yo - for those of you familar with the are - I’m in Morgan View. I’m thinking of throwing a gathering - similar to Koop’s. Got all the neccesities for a fun evening, but I was just curious to what kind of numbers I would be having. For those unfamiliar with the area - its in northern B-more - on loch raven and east cold spring. For now this is console gaming with a planned arcade machine sometime this summer. Currently we will have access to

one 22 inch TV

and possibly another screen if ATN cna come thru with his 20 inch
I don’t know what the level of competition will be like either - its comes down to who comes. That’s what I’m trying to find out now. I prolly won’t have a date set until I get a indication of who and how many people are coming thru. There will be drinks.

Well at least the first time I try this - I don’t want to have too many people for space reasons. Think of something like Koop’s downstairs area - without the second room. Things will be arranged for several screens and I’ll let me room become available for a bit more room - but I know that for now I don’t want over 15 people. IF I can create real intrest in the area though I can get us a real place - enough space for a real tournament. But I just wanted to see if it would be worth it before I go to the next step. But again - feel free to come thru. Sometime tommorow after V-day is done with I’ll prolly post a projected date. And if anyone thinks they are the shit in Madden - I got somebody for you to play…may host a madden tourny soon…

Tentative date - March 6th. My krib at MorganView - depending on how many people come - I may open up shop around 5 - but somewhere between 5-7 start time - end when I kick ya’ll people out. Yeah Ace - I will need the projector - my roomy and I haven’t discussed the new TV so I don’t know when its going to be copped. I’ll post more information weds evening.

No the exam starts at 7:30 in the morning on morgan’s campus. But at the same time, I dont want to be thinking about it. Oh well I guess that I’ll be there and get my TV later on.
No tournament worthy Marvel comp on that campus. I mean c’mon, I don’t even play Marvel, and I rocked the entire campus with Spiral a couple years back.
Seriously tho, the Marvel comp is just not there at all. There’s comp for Soul Cal and Tekken, as you already know.
Those people that care to learn about most fighting games that are on the campus, are gonna have to go from the ground up and get a stick.

I only knew about ONE A3 player, but he played on a pad.

Anyway - who said this was limited to Morgan students? I’m just trying to start building a community in B-more - just until I can get the big room - I’d prefer to keep the people count under 20 - around 15. And there will be Halo as well as 3D games - just comes down to havint he consoles for it.
