Ok folks, here it is:

Saturday, December 6th, at 3pm EST,Battle Fantasticshall commence on XBOX Live. :woot: Timezone Cruncher

Due to the amount of players in the tournament, every single bracket will have one player in the first round as a “BYE”, meaning the one lucky player per bracket will advance to the second round automatically. This was chosen blind from a printed out list of players, and should not affect the outcome of the tournament in any significant way.

On to the rules:

Rules are; Remixed game, default Remix speed (3), smoothing settings are user preferance, no dips, no classic Kuma, pretty straight forward.

Best 2/3 rounds, Best 2/3 Matches per set. Single Elimination (you lose 2/3 of your matches, thats it, your done.) To avoid me getting an absolute mess of messages only the WINNER of the respective matches will send me the **results **(on XBL, via text or Voice, speak clearly please.)

Now on to the meaty details; For the FIRST round of matches, I will announce all of the matches, EG “Player1 VS Player2” (you will have this info FAR before the start time of the tourney) would the “player1” in said matchups, PLEASE send a Friend Request to your first opponent, and invite them to a private player room for your first matchup. (this is to make starting this tourney managable, and much smoother running)

From the SECOND round of matches all the way to the finale I will be a “Metatag” for the matches, in where I will open the player rooms (3 person, invite only) and systematically set the matches up and leave to set up the next match very quickly, rinse repeat.

The semi finals and finals will be set up the same way with one difference, Prophestus will be a 4th slot spectator (opponent?), and he will be recording all the matches from that point on.

Now, because this is the way we will be going about setting up matches, there will be a few minutes of downtime as i update the brackets, and set up the matches, every new bracket will run quicker then the last, etc. Please bear with me on this, as i cannot think of a way to go about this any faster, and I promise to do my very best at maintaining a smooth, organized system.

There are some heavy hitters in this “Battle Fantastic” I can only hope my hard work will bring all of us a truly electric HD Remix experience, with some epic finale matches!

(Very big thank yous to Chunbelivable for getting this beast going, ZerodotJander for some helpful advice, Prophestus for bringing us what we all want, the EVIDENCE youtube style! And everyone else who has dropped a suggestion to help me out with setting this up!)

Alright, I still have **several outstanding **FR on Live for tourney competitors, I will send EVERYONE in this tourney the info to lead them to this thread, then send everyone the first round matchups well ahead of the start time. This should allow you enough time to prepare yourselves for your first matchups, and I again I NEED to ask you guys to help me out with this first round, by having to send 1 (just one) FR to your FIRST opponent, and set up the PRIVATE player room for your FIRST matches. (because if it isnt done this way, it will take a VERY long time for me to set up all of the match rooms)

Everything after this point will be done for you, throw a dog a bone ok?

At 3:10 PM EST, any no shows will FORFIT the match up and thier opponent will proceed. (I really hope this isnt a big issue, and we dont have a fucked first round due to lack of COMMITTED players)

If there are connection issues (sigh) please try multiple times, with both players setting up as host (you can use your recent players list or friends list to reinvite to the room). Any people reporting unresolvable connection issues will be matched up with one of the first round Byes to compansate (if a player is having consistent and repeated connection issues, im sorry, but your out.). You will have to wait until all the good connecting matches are underway, so i can see what im dealing with. (AKA, how many players) Only one person per matchup report issue to me please (to avoid said clusterfuck in msg box)

Round 1

Please note that players: Sosage, Kamikazie Gopher, Ultraaaa, SweetJV, BdoUK, Damdai, Gish Death and Freeze3000 are the first round BYEs. (All players who have BYEs are backups in case players cannot connect to each other in first round matchups, in such a case, said two players will be sent to 2 BYE players to compansate.)

(EDIT: cu pho made last minute cancellation, FrankDux DimMak will get a bye unless I get some last minute additions, will keep you all posted. BdoUK has messaged me that he cannot make it, shuffled matchups to compansate, its looking like first round will exist soley to weed out the no shows and people who cannot make it, please bear with me on this, as after that is all sorted out, 2nd round on should be full, and smooth)

Too late to sign up? Please include nohoho if possible. He will be at my house and wants to partake. If we have to fight each other, he will either forfeit that match or we can play offline. If he can join, please send all xbox live communications for him to my gamertag.

Baduk Bob is at my house and will also be playing on my 360, he has his own gamertag though. We just can’t both play at the same time, and if we get matched up we’ll have to fight offline.

Also, for those who end up matched against me, im sorry for the wait, 2nd round forward I will be setting up everyones matches before my own, I do apologize for this inevitable wait time.

Ok, for simplicitys sake, YOUR (Tha real Damdai) matches will ALWAYS come first, so when I metatag, I will be setting you up first, after you report results, I will immedietly set up nohohos. (Ask Nohoho to verbally explain to his opponents that he is NOT Damdai, thank you)

1 Hour to tourney start, and I still have people not on my Friends list, I sent all of you messages on XBL, and have posted INSANE amounts of info on here. So players who ARE actually involved and on the ball, PLEASE bear with the inevitable first round no shows, and the resulting byes, it looks like from the 2 round on, that all the matchups will be there, and please be paitent with me while I try to organize the inital mass of no show communications.

Alright guys, due to the lack of some contestants not being on my friends list yet, I CANNOT send messages to them anymore (Hit daily non friend message limit on XBL as of 1 minute ago)

If people in question no show, tough cookies, thier opponents will get a bye into the second round.

I Finally got to a computer. I am still waiting for Shadow Ace 50, I added and sent a messege an hour ago. Just out of curiousity, is the brackets in a seperate thread or something? Or you just have them somewhere and tell people? :woot:

Yeah for real. I mean, I understand things do come up and life happens, not everyone can make it, but it looks like there is hella no shows. Chunbelieveable and AudioCG (working his ass off) put tons of work and effort into getting this going, plus I spent a few hours getting all my shit ready to record, and I had tell off my friends, girl, fam, and work(lol) to play with you guys, so its kinda like a kick in the nuts.

First guy was a no show and beat the second guy so I’m waiting on the updated brackets which is good because I just woke up lol.
