What would be the possible story, because Dark Knight Returns is kinda ridiculous.
A major studio has lucrative properties that it has no idea what to do with. Its representatives announce their attention to adapt material from a bestselling book that they don’t understand. Hilarity ensues.

I don’t see Miller’s DKR happening with this creative team; the principals involved are too old.
They should just add Wonder Woman and do Trinity. Nice simple plot that they fuck up too badly.
They don’t plan to adapt the Dark Knight Returns. That quote was only used as a hint.
I don’t wanna see any adaptions considering comic book movies have shown time and time again that the people behind them rarely know what the fuck the sourc material is about. The only relatable point movies have to the comics is in name only but aside from that they might as well should just be their own IPs.
And if they were their own IPs people would bitch about them not adapting something.
At this point, the producers should not give a single FUCK about what anyone else thinks. Because people still come to watch the movies. People still pay them money for it.
Unless all of you actually decide to make sure they never get a cent, why should they care? It’s an unnecessary headache.

I really don’t want to see Lex Luthor, I’m tired of Lex Luthor… unless he’s behind the plot of two other enemies 1 being from Batman and the other from Superman then I’m cool with it. Outside of that though please no.
After seeing Flashpoint Paradox how fucking insane would it be after they establish the DCU with Man of Steel 1 and 2(and whatever else comes out before the flash film), they completely turn it on its head with the flash movie even for just a moment before reverting everything back, gives them a perfect opportunity to shake up the costumes(for the toys and all that shit) at the conclusion too.
It would never happen but in my head it would be at least refreshingly different. No film studio would want to stop so many kids from watching it with all that death and agony(dude the flash literally sobs in a fetal position when he finds out he can’t break the time barrier at first what kid wants to see that).

If the wanted to reset the universe for movie purposes then they could have at least made MOS good.

im still convinced dc is trolling the mainstream and secretly making injustice. supes snappin a neck was just the beginning and it all ends with flash time traveling to save the dc universe and show supes he had another option.
