Batman/Superman movie announced for 2016

batman & robin was the lulz, but for its time it was fine for me. granted i was a mid teenager when this came out, and who didnt wanna see more alicia silverstone

ive seen elektra more then 5 times. once in the theater. it was interesting. it wasnt horrible, but it wasnt good. hmm, i compare elektra to like ninja assassin. its one of those movies that is easily tolerable. eh, ninja assassin is better then elektra though. i dont know, i never had a huge problem with it. it just didnt stand out as much as it could have.

i saw spiderman 3 because, well venom. it turned out to be too long, and straight comedy, but i wasnt cynical enough about comic movies back then to say fuck spiderman 3.

amazing spiderman was great on first showing, and then the second time i watched it i was like, ugh, boring, where is the cool stuff. lol. over time it became kinda bad

never seen catwoman. i totally forgot that movie existed until you just said something. lol

walked out on daredevil. it was too stupid. i just couldnt take how bad that movie was. hmm, maybe i was pretty cynical about movies then. lol. i guess i just wanted to see venom in spiderman 3. lol

i was excited to see ghostrider actually, and i still enjoy that movie to this day. it was a lot less then more, but i thought ghostrider 1 was actually pretty enjoyable. it didnt bother to reach for the easy greatness it could have been, but it was fairly solid by movie, and comic book movie standards. ghostrider 2 was a 0/10 though. just a straight atrocious sequel.

green lantern being watchable is a red flag for me on your opinions now. lol. green lantern has one redeeming quality, brooke. that movie is beyond stupid imo. it should have never been made. what a waste of money.

fantastic four is in the same lane as elektra, but imo worse. jessica alba sucks and ruins it for me too.

you didnt mention, but ive never seen the first punisher, only the second via a rip, and i really enjoyed the second one, shit was mad violent. i still to this day have no idea what the first one is like, and i have it on my HD. LOL

with that said. we’ve seen nothing of b&r to compare it to anything. its just casting choices getting everyone amped, which mean nothing if they come across great on screen. i think if you didnt like man of steel, there is a good chance you wont like man of steel 2.

i think man of steel 2 is gonna murder the box office though. look how man of steel did, and it kinda shocked everyone, but a lot of people wanted what they got out of man of steel. there are some parts that could have been obviously better, but i think it was more then adequate.

My favorite part of Ghost Rider was the whip zoom, because I’m a fan of Kung Pow and so were the friends I was with. We were all cracking up. Everybody else in the theater probably thought we were on glue or something.

Haha that phone call @ 3:45

LOL that guy makes some awesome points

Totally agree that this movie is going completely left field with all the actors.

Still have absolutely no faith of fast and furious bitch’s ability to pull off a compassionate warrior.

Now we have the Dexter’s lab, Billy the quiz boy version of Luther play by someone who was already the worst performer in his own superhero movie.

At this point Affleck seems like a safe choice compared to the rest of cast.

AND we still don’t know if Flash is gonna be in it or not. I fear who might play him if they keep him in.

They’ll probably cast Lou Ferrigno as The Flash

…I kind of want this to happen now.

When’s a new Spawn?

haha, they’d put in Mark Henry as the next Flash. Lena Dunham would be Spawn, and Taylor Swift would be Hawkman.

You would think with the awesome dc animated movies they put out like flashpoint paradox they could fucking cast a superman movie without this type of non sense.

I have no clue where they are going with this movie lol.

Well for one DC has always been great in animation. And it tends to be a lot easier to cast for animated movies than it is for live action, especially if you have someone who loves their role. Shit, I’m sure DC has Kevin Conroy on Speed Dial.

But while casting for live action can be somewhat difficult they’re finding ways to make it even harder on themselves.

.

I’m sure I’m going to see this movie at some point, because who can resist looking at a train wreck. At this point I don’t think any of them give a fuck anymore.

Can’t be any more of a train wreck than the Super Bowl.

I don’t know… I saw Optimus Prime riding a robot T-Rex… It can ALWAYS get worse.

Y’know, nine-year-old Po would have thought that was the coolest shit ever… Jaded old man Po just makes Yoshi jokes…
*

…How’s that in any way a train wreck? You don’t know about Dinobot?

I mean, it’s attached to Bay it WILL be a train wreck…just not for the reason you stated.

That’s why it will be a train wreck. Whatever cool shit happens will be wrapped up in a booboo burrito of suck because of Bay.

Would you rather it ALL be trash rather than be trash with some cool moments?

Well that and I’m pretty sure the creatives behind the casting for the animated films are completely separate from the guys behind the live-action casting.

It would’ve been nice if WB studios consulted their Animation department and DC comics more often. I mean if the animated side of the company is pumping out more popular superhero-based content than the live-action side, then see what fundamentals can be successfully applied.

Paul Dini and Bruce Timm have been doing the DCAU for years, and what Greg Weisman did with Young Justice as a concept alone could work for a live-action movie.

Marvel has done well by getting all the departments with the creatives to communicate and collaborate on what films to make and how, WB hasn’t quite done the same with DC and it’s other divisions.

If superman can be brit why cant lex?
