Batman/Superman movie announced for 2016

i bet flash will be introduced in this movie. they should.

basically id like to see a 2 and a half hour movie with hi tech billionaire GENIUS batman, kandor, supergirl, brainiac, lex luther, and somehow work in flash to introduce him for his own movie that is going to come out.

of course that is a bit much to put into one movie especially as youre trying to work on supermans character more, clark kent, and lois lane. basically batman/superman is going to have to get straight to the point fairly quickly. man of steel was 2 hours and 12 minutes long, so i expect batman/superman to be on some lord of the rings shit in length, but with a stunning cast like the above i just mentioned, i dont think anyone would care at all as long as the writing is good and it keeps us engaged constantly.

i could see a battle between batman and lex luther. money vs money, hi tech suit vs hi tech suit. supergirl and superman vs brainiac, although im not sure if brainiac is strong enough to put up a fight vs two kryptonians and supergirl is stronger then superman, but they can figure it out, its brainiac. then maybe flash comes to help save the day in the last like 20 minutes. maybe if theyre cheesy we can get a superman vs flash race. something like flash picking on superman, zipping around him all fast, superman catches him and tells him to relax and says, see i caught you, youre not that fast. then of course flash is kind of a flashy dick and challenges him to a race. superman accepts, they speed off, lois lane thinks its cute clark is making new friends, batman looks at them with a stone cold look, pushes a button from his suit, his flying saucer appears out of nowhere, it was camoflaged the whole time basically following batman in complete and utter silence. batman has no words, walks away from lois lane, gets in his saucer, and dips out at a high rate of speed, then the movie ends.

yes i am obsessed with batman having a flying saucer, and yes i am nerding out heavy right now. lol. id just like to see the philosophical burden on clark as he wonders if he should just save the world from itself, help it to start over, or just side line and let humanity figure it out. no flashbacks. a little more color but not a shit ton, lois lane naked, ummm. lol

As epic as Prime was, I dunno if i could go another superhero movie with emo rage all over the place, even if it is finally intended. Plus a movie which would involve the extended JLA cast to show up just to get jobbed would be disasterous to edit.

Batman and Lantern if I recall wasn’t really trying to fight Superman there and they just wanted to talk if I remember that issue so that’s a bit out of context.

I have the issue…batman emptied his entire arsenal and commented on how he heard stories about supermans power level. Jordan was trying to hold supes off and they had to call in flash after Jordan realized he couldn’t fight supes anymore.

Even still you’re still using half assed logic. Superman in real life would be differently fight all out but Batman would stay the same and not use all these other tools? Nonsense.

A dude FTL with enough physical strength to hold the weight of the planet for days only needs to throw a discarded piece of paper at bats to leave him in the hospital for weeks…again no amount of prep time is gonna work here.

Comics already is one big fanfic most of the time. The new 52 as a whole has turned into Geoff Johns’ Fanfic, Hal Jordan leader of the lanterns? Guardians losing their minds validating Hal’s rebellion of them for years? Batman randomly being useless for no reason? Wonder Woman not knowing how to connect to people even tho she’s supposed to be an ambassador? Jesus that new Superman X Wonder Woman book’s premise is straight out of fanfic.

No argument here…supes and womderwoman is cringe worthy and feels like a girl from tumblr came up with the concept. On the topic of fanfic…Gail Simone’s batgirl made me lose all faith in mankind.

If your point is Supes can overpower Batman then of course I never said Supes couldn’t beat Batman but Batman could totally defeat him as well using the many insane tools that he refuses to use for some reason, likely CIS.

If both are bloodlusted what’s to stop supes from just punching the planet hard enough to destroy it or using his HV to burn bats to a skeleton…their fight would require a massive amount of stupidity and ignorance from supers to even be somewhat competitive. Again how a ant beats a tank I don’t know…

I don’t buy the “Superman is as strong as he needs to be argument” that applies to most characters especially each of JL members. All the JL members get nerfed to make the others look better than their solo’s.

Supes has always shown this to be the case with his powers hence his PC days. His power is never defined and limited, its always something he can push to meet any threat…PC superman is superman at his natural conclusion the only reason he was nerfed was cause he made the DCU look like a joke.

Exactly their a joke, anyone can beat anyone. Finally we find common ground. But when you bust out cliche crap like “he’s the strongest because he needs to” is when I can’t take you seriously. You become what you hate, a fanboy for Superman.

Logic wise Supes would lose most fights against Flash or Manhunter and even the New 52 acknowledges that but he could beat them in comics as well. Because it all depends on how it’s written because it all depends on the writer. Not the powers.

Flash and MM are powerful but just not as powerful as supes…at his peak supes could shatter dimensional barriers and time by simply spinning lol…it’s no contest mate.

Again it has nothing to do with being a fanboy but just simply apply logic to a world that is fairly well defined. Batman is a human, he can’t fly,he isn’t invulnerae and he has no powers…he can’t even beat slade and band h2h so why would be be able to fight a man who can throw the planet off orbit with a punch.

20 years later and he still can’t beat him…
