I am holding out on the theory that the CW universe is the good universe and the Synderverse is the Justice Lords universe and they will crossover in a movie.
People are going to think stupid things. You’re the only one to write volumes attacking what other people in their opinions found wonky, and yet I really haven’t seen you write volumes about how good this movies is. Even just the simple Color Corrected trailer I put out - there’s just so many ways this movie fails itself.

Pros for BvS
- Batman. Affleck did an excellent job as a broken down, older batman, who is about putting that work in, and getting the job done over everything else. I cant recall one moment where i didnt enjoy his performance as bruce wayne.
- I loved batmans tech in this movie. It was what i wanted the nolan movies to do a bit more, and there is room for soooo much more. We got to see a little bit of his gadgets. He had an em shield on his batmobile, the “anti superman suit”, and his classic bat grappling gun. He also had a great bat lair. Small, but functional, and well hidden.
- CGI was great. Did a really great job with that. So transitioning from real humans to cgi wasnt jarring at all. It wasnt in man of steal either. Zack is usually pretty fine with that. I think the darker tone of his movies allow that to happen much easier. 300 was praised back in the day for that also. Alot of those muscles on them were cgi.
- Wonderwoman actually wasnt bad, but she also wasnt really existent. For what she was around for, i shockingly twice wasnt offended by gal gadot as wonder woman. I have a more preferred look for wonder woman FO SHO, but im not offended by her as wonder woman at all.
- I liked that a super hero is finally facing real world consequences for their actions. Unlike most comic book tv shows and movies, they are paying attention to this detail. Really its just marvel that has ignored this detail in its tv shows and movies. I liked that snyder wanted to tackle that. He wanted to say no, aliens as powerful as superman cant come to earth, want to terraform earth, get into a brawl with him, and magically everyone is saved. Actually, he pandered to critics more in this one, and the final doomsday fight happened at night, and there was a specific line that said, oh well mostly everyone has cleared out by now downtown.
- I really liked that character who lost his legs, become lex’s pawn to kill himself to further depower superman. It shows who lex is. Lex killed the woman that was clearly infactuated with him (he sent her into the courtroom knowing what was gonna happen, and didnt show up), and used a handicapped man just to further his plot to take down superman.
- Also, i loved that you constantly hear sonic booms when superman is coming. Its soooooo good. Like no whisp. You feel that power from him. BOOM BOOM BOOM, and here he is. I looooved that.

Just to be clear. As soon as i said i liked the movie, i was attacked, and as soon as i checked somones incorrect opinion, i was attacked, so i let yall rock, and i never had time to just tell my honest pros and cons. Just to clear up what i think are misconceptions in the movie
Batman had a clear reason for wanting to take out superman. Besides all the obvious shit. He was already way over the edge when the movie started, a man that rejected bruces money blew himself up at the capital because of superman, then he was having visions about superman, and to top it all off, his last vision was the flash telling him he was right about everything, and lois is the key. People not understanding how he got to the point of wanting to kill superman are crazy.
JLA is not hamfisted in, and are only in the movie for 2 minutes. Like i said above. You guys were so filled with hate, you didnt even enjoy the guy from terminator 2 turning his son into cyborg. What a beautiful easter egg for the fans. I think cyborg and flashes grocery mart scene were fucking hype as shit. The flash movie is going to be da troof.
Lex jr’s motives were equally as sensible. He had all the batman fears, minus the visions, but also knew about wonderwoman, aquaman, cyborg, and the flash. Hes terrified of what already exist, and as we fined out, its likely that he was in contact with darkseid too, pushing him even further over the edge. But even without the darkseid theory, its clear why this daddys boy, ego maniacal, sociopath, who is always one step behind, is trying to kill superman. BUT, i think lex might have also had other motives, because he seemed to be targeting batman specifically a little bit. As if one of batmans enemies persuaded him to, which would make sense. If superman killed batman, okay, heres doomsday. If batman killed superman, okay, heres doomsday, and where are all you other metahumans in hiding.
Doomsday was like a fail safe for everything, and was always intended to be. Also, lois lane didnt walk to the edge. She was kidnapped, walked like two steps out of the helicopter, and lex put his arm around her and walked her close to the edge, then pushed her off.

Bro I hear people bitch all the time about how long matches are in that game and how the great majority of the cast is “useless”. I will agree it is one of the least complained about games overall.

@jimmy1200 you gotta be shitting me if you think the cgi was good. You can very clearly see that it’s CGI and it sticks like a sore thumb. When Superman was fighting Doomsday I kept thinking it was some shittier version of the DC Universe Online opening cutscene.
