I noticed that too.
The film was all over the place and questionable logic across the board regarding characters’ motivation. Not gonna like though I marked out for all the DBZ action in Man of Steel, and they hilariously kept it going in this film. I still found the film enjoyable, but I am an extremely casual fan of DC comics (only read 4 LOL).
The movie made $27.7 Million on Thursday. One decimal higher than Age of Ultron.

It’s what most of us expected. It would take Crapt4stic reviews to stop it from getting the money it needed to greenlight the future DC movies. Even a mediocre movie is fine because the novelty of BvS is more than enough.
Managed to get a ticket for free, so might aswell get it done with.
Hyped to watch Batman & Robin after it though.

Nope, actually Thor 2 is the only Marvel Studios movie without a Fresh Rating (i thought fresh was 75% not 70% so that may have messed me up)
He did for a few but brought back it back up during the latter parts of the spoilers part of the review.
I’m mixed but it’s a 7/10 for me. I mirror what some others have said: Sloppy moments mixed in with moments of greatness. Probably won’t go back and see it in the theater again, but I will give the forthcoming R-rated extended version a go.
At this point, I just hope it makes enough so that the other DC movies in production can continue. (I think Suicide Squad looks like it could be great and the first real knockout hit for this extended universe)
Also, I want Affleck to get his own solo trilogy as Batman. Badly.
Edit: Also, Synder and his wife really need to go. They’ve had 2 shots and have stumbled out of the gate both times. Warner needs a better director manning the ship if they really want Justice League to hit it out of the park.

I think there are parts of a good movie there, but they need some new writers ASAP. Im tired of David Goyers creepy, quasi-fascist style. Also way past sick of ham fisted Christ allegory. How many shots of Superman with his arms outstretched crucifixion style are we going to get out of these movies?
One day I hope to see STAS/Ruthless CEO Lex in a live action film. All of them have been Gene Hackman parodies, which is fine if you are say, Gene fucking Hackman playing that version of Lex from the time period.
