La la la I’m not reading any posts I’m just dropping in to say I reserved my seats for the IMAX tomorrow night and I can’t wait to see the movie I’m super excite!!!
My only objection here are the truly horrible HORRIBLE STUPID “set-up” scenes for the Justice League, they’re SO BAD at the point they feel insulting, one of the worst facepalms I’ve seen in a theater.
Fortunately, I’m able to completely block them from my memory.
The script was pretty good, Batman was great and both Lex and Wondie worked. I only have a couple more objections when it comes about Batman and Superman’s motivations and characterizations, but they’re more or less explained within the movie, so I can’t complain more.
Any problem MoS and BvS have suffered I think there’s plenty of time and opportunities to fix in the future movies, I want to see more and I’m hyped for Suicide Squad. Had a great time
[details=Spoiler] I knew it was coming.
Of course it’s dumb if you don’t use your brain.
To put it simply, this Bruce lost faith in humanity and has a narrow minded view of the world because of past experiences.
Hearing the name Martha and the flashback from his childhood (that I think didn’t have to be put here but looks like they had to since you missed the point) shows that he acknowledges Superman’s humanity and how he lost his. He’s the monster he thought Superman was. His view completely changed at the end as shown by his discussion with Wonder Woman or how he doesn’t leave his mark on Lex in the prison. Compare these two scenes with his conversations with Alfred earlier. [/details]
No, no payment definitely. I was surprised that the movie was not at all that disjointed jumble some critics said it was. The script was good and on-point, with some great dialogues, you have nothing to fear here.
The only disjointed parts are the “set-up” scenes. You can even read the spoilers here and they won’t spoil the movie at all, because they’re extremely non related to the main plot:
[details=Spoiler]First scene, after a dream of an evil Superman and demons invading Earth, Batman apparently sees a dying Flash phasing through reality and telling him that they must prevent everything from happening. Comes out of literaly nowhere, and is addressed again only at the end. I let out a WTF as I saw that, it was a bucket of cold water.
Second one, Batman sends Wonder Woman an email with some “video files” of metahumans, containing the logos of Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman and Aquaman… Wonder Woman watches every single one of those videos one by one, which is of course nothing related to the plot and there are more important things happening in the movie. It’s freaking painful, man.[/details]
Now, the only parts I found boring was the final battle scenes, I don’t like Snyder style of Superman action and I was just not interested. But Batman fight scenes were terrific, in the other hand.
Whatever, to each one its taste, I’ve seen people that consider the first part very boring, but for me, it caught my interest and kept me entertained.
Just because Supes called out a name that ringed a bell to Bats and triggered his mommy issues is dumb as fuck. That’s as if Lex would have called himself “Thomas Luthor” and Bats would be OH SHIT LIKE MY POPS??? CLEARLY YOU MUST BE A GOOD MAN!
Just think about it. If Martha Kent would have changed her name to Clara Kent, Supes would be totally fucked.

I really can’t think of any other company/film/etc that people generally wanted to fail so bad. You guys are ridiculous, and to think some of you are grown ass men lol. Pretty much if dc movies aren’t like marvel movies and don’t sell as much then that means it’s bad lol wtf
No one WANTED this shit to fail, but the studio and their idiot production team have done everything possible to fuck it up.
A writing staff that couldn’t write nursery rhymes, a director that has no clue why people love superheroes, and just makes destruction porn, and almost wholesale terrible casting decisions had doomed this movie.
It was the sum of all fears, and now those fears have been truly realized.
And the saddest part, while it deserves to fail, it will not… Because people will throw money at anything with Batman in it, no matter how bad the quality.
I saw this movie. Wasn’t going to, but had nothing better to do tonight and was near a theater.
The movie had good moments, but was overall just too sloppy to me. I’m having the same “I’ll forget it in an hour” feeling I had with Man of Steel.
But good LORD did Lex suck. No joke. He was even MORE annoying/silly in the movie than he was in the trailers. I shook my head in disbelief multiple times. What the fuck was that?
