I never got the point of Lobo. He’s a worse Wolverine and with a healing factor just as stupid. You mean to tell me Lobo can come back from one cell yet he was able to kill off his entire race? I know the comics explained how he did it but fuck them because I ain’t buying that load of bullshit.

Lobo was a parody of Wolverine. Entire concept was just to be dumb as shit, but everyone loved it (including me.)
Lobo is a parody of the edgy muscle bound anti-heroes that were popular in the 90s. His antics gave them tons of personality which the characters he was a parody of didn’t have at the time.

A Lobo movie could work. I agree, they just need the right director. I’m thinking the tone of the most recent (REALLY good) Judge Dredd
