Nightwing joined the JL around the time Vixen and Canary were in charge. They needed a leader, and Bruce finally convinced Dick to join.
Also, Damian WAS part of the Titans for a brief period. In the comics Dick sent him to the Titans to make friends. In this movie it sounds more like punishment, which might be why Dick is following him.

Because they made weird, campy batman movies for so long, and nolans movies were what made them a shit ton of money in a modern day were marvel was slinging big dick around the box office, even though id prefer blessings from actual comic writers, artist, and people in the industry, than the guy who made a 2 shitty batman movies, and one good one. Thank god for heath ledger, who gave his life to play that delicious joker. Also two face was dope too.
Christopher nolan is overrated, and who took batman to a mediocre level, which fans accepted in spades. It was pretty fucking gross. If heath ledger didnt play joker so well, all 3 of those movies in hindsight would go down in history as the biggest overrated batman movies ever.

Marvel did rush shit. IM2 was a sacrificial lamb to set up some more stuff for the Avengers and SHIELD backstory and it’s easily the worst of the MCU movies by a long shot.
DC had the opportunity to look at what Marvel did right and wrong and improve on it. And yet, from all the info that we know, they are rushing towards that JL movie so fast that everyone in WB HQ seems to be on Speed Weed overdose.

Ya know none of that shit matters right? CW and the rest aren’t canon with the DC Cinematic Universe. IF anything, that will backfire on them, because the amount of people that get annoyed that Grant Gustin isn’t the movies’ Flash instead of Erza Miller is pretty high. Same for Arrow and it’s cast.
Besides, Jessica Jones and Daredevil shit on everything DC produced not named Flash. Agent Carter is horribly underrated and AoS kinda has it’s ups and downs.
What matters is, Marvel has a single cohesive universe that’s readily accessible and easy to follow. Even if the movies don’t directly acknowledge them, they are still important as ways to let the audience get more invested into the MCU as a whole from ways a Hollywood blockbuster simply can’t afford to show. Fuck man, AoS season 2 Coulson subplot lead directly into Avengers 2. They got dat world building (and gdlk casting/characterization) on lock.
Man people arent giving DC 9 years to build their bullshit because DC isnt taking 9 years to build their bullshit, which is a good deal of peoples problem with this movie. Its trying to do too much too fast. Exact reason Iron Man 2 fell short, it ended up feeling like a big ad for Avengers. BvS feels like a giant billboard saving throw to try and desperatly catch up to Marvel. “Look look we can do Avengers too!” Trots out JLA with half the thought of effort put into it People can see through it.

What the fuck does canon have to do with anything you bottom feeder. 4 DC tv shows allows fans to easily get acquainted with DC characters and plots, making it easier to jump into shit like the JLA without establishing 4 years of other movies first. That doesnt even include all the animated dc tv shows and movies. Sit down. There is no amount of people annoyed that grant gustin isnt the flash. No one is even thinking of that shit right now. The flash tv show is so good, that as long as ezra miller can do what he was hired for, ACT, we’ll be fine. People will just fuck with the tv show, and fuck with the movie version if the latter is good.

No one watches agent of carter. AoS is not really worth anyones time, as you can tell that neither of those shows have a regularly updated thread. I dont even think agent carter has one. lol. Jessica jones and daredevil do not shit all over the arrow. Stop it, and supergirl and legends of tomorrow are still in their first season. Supergirl is objectively good. SRK is just sensitive, and has a hair trigger about even a breath of feminist shit. Legends of tomorrow literally only has 1 fucking episode. lol.
Jessica jones and daredevil were great. Good for marvel, but they also arent weekly shows. Theyre shows that are hype for 2 weeks, and then we’re on to the next one. It doesnt maintain the same type of attention like a weekly produced show can.
- AoS season 2 subplot was also unnecessary for people to know who went to see avengers 2. AoS is not important to the MCU at all, stop it. DC having the flash, arrow, legends, and supergirl isnt going to prevent fans from going to the movie theater. Theyre going to be more likely to go. Keeping franchises separated is normal, and there is only but so much bleed in that those shows will give to the movies, otherwise you risk a cluster fuck happening.
There is no founded evidence that linking tv shows and movies is for the betterment of your movies. Thats just nerd rage nonsense.
