I was actually looking forward to the movie before this trailer. Now I’ve feel like I’ve seen the cliff notes version. When is Hollywood going learn that you don’t have to reveal too much for the trailer? I’m not sure how good The Force Awakens will be. That said, the rest of Hollywood should hire whoever is responsible for their trailers. They provide hype trailers that DON’T give away a summation of Acts 1, 2, and 3 of their movie.

While I agree with your overall point, people often confuse being a model with being beautiful. High fashion models aren’t necessarily pretty. Designers like tall and extremely slender women to model their clothes because they literally want “moving coat racks.” Models for men’s magazines tend to actually be attractive because they need to look good in minimal clothing. No one wants to see 6’ 110lb women in bathing suit. Being able to count a woman’s rib bones at the sternum is NOT attractive.

It seems the latest trailer killed any hope people had of this movie being good, I never had any hope it would be good to begin with so I just sit back and laugh.
I wish Superman would have a more bubbly personality. Or at least Clark.

It is not Cavill to be fair, it is DC. DC put out a statement that they do not want any humor in their superhero movies and everything has to be super serial, which goes completely against Superman in general.

That seems to be a problem with alot superhero movies these days when it comes to villains.
There’s never nearly as much effort in them as in the heroes; is LokI still the only Marvel villain who hasn’t been deaded?
Loki is still the only Marvel villian that has not been complete shit tbh, maybe the villian for the first IM movie as well but that is it.
Marvel villains are on Netflix. Movies are character pieces, with the villain being there just to justify the heroes’ interaction and final boss. Although I was fond of Yellow Jacket due to just how cartooningly evil he was.
My only hope is for Thanos to be a badass. They’ve been building him up since Avengers 2 and he gets 2 movies. I wonder if Marvel will go batshit crazy with him like they need to.
When a villain only gets one movie to work, there’s only so much you can do. When you know you’re going to use a guy for more than one movie you’re going to put more effort into building them up.
Phrase 1 films had good villains. It was in Phrase 2 where it went downhill on the villain department. Alex Pierce was the only good villain from the entire phrase.
It helps that short of Pierce most of them are going to appear either in another movie or in Agents of SHIELD (or already have).
Uh…what? Stane was generic, just had a great actor. Abomination, around the same deal (I do love me some Tim Roth). Thor, already went over Loki. Red Skull, again, same as the others outside of Loki.
Phase 1 in general didn’t really have better villains, but they had MUCH stronger actors behind them.
