Didn’t really plan on seeing the movie since I don’t fuck with Superman but they literally gave probably the biggest plot twist away…I know WW was gonna make a cameo. But I thought this shit foreal was gonna be Batman vs Superman all the way through. Doomsday could’ve showed up at the end as like foreshadowing but this shit looks like there won’t even be an actual “winner” because they gotta team up. Came off as corny and unhype, and the movie is probably gonna be a mess like Spider-Man 3 or ASM 2 was in terms of not having a steady focus or a sudden shift. Just what the hell lol
Blergh CGI, boring gray filter which seems thankfully toned down in BvS. Superman was way too passive in that movie as a character. Asking for guidance is fine, but when it’s fucking moronic stuff like him asking a priest instead of Jor-El, it’s hard to let it slide.
Pa Kent had me legitimately disgusted at his decisions. Easily one of the worst characters I’ve seen in a while in a super hero movie.
People go apeshit over Supes killing, but that wasn’t even remotely a problem, although I would’ve preferred if the kill came on the second movie instead of right at the beginning.
Some stuff was legit good though, like Clark learning to fly and the DBZ action, but too much plot convenience and poor characterization for me to enjoy.
I didn’t hate MoS but I thought they were gonna deliver a better product. I’d put it at the same level of IM2 if not slightly above. So decent - good when drunk
Alright, then DC should have nothing but depressing, brooding movies from here on in. Because clearly if they try to make a movie using any sort of humour, it turns into Green Lantern or Superman Begins.
Can’t wait for the ultra-serious, dark Booster Gold or Guy Gardner.
But DC apparently fails at everything concerning live-action movies… Except Batman, but they are only slighty batting over .500 on that franchise as well.
Why can’t the Flash TV show team be put in charge of these movies?
