Agree. They really should’ve just saved Doomsday for a later Superman (or JL) movie, rather than throwing him out there this early
I don’t think this movie will be as shit as I originally thought…but it won’t be that great either. Probably a one time watch (if that)

This is a little too much for one movie. No way in hell they’ll be able to do Doomsday justice. He’ll more than likely end up as disappointing and pathetic as Venom was in Spider-Man 3.
Also i worry how much this will take away from the Batman Vs Superman stuff, which is what the hype around this whole damned movie has been about.
Just like Avatar…but certainly that didn’t ruined any chances on making it win countless awards

What are you talking about. Doomsday isnt a complex character. He just shows up, fucks some shit up, superman follows his path of destruction, they fight, they both die. Even doomsdays origin isnt complex, or really that important to anything.

Eisenberg is great at portraying Lex E. Nigma.
There’s other villains they could’ve used for Superman and Bats to beat on tho besides Doomsday that could fill the same role as Lex’s stooge (Metallo, Bizarro or somebody else)
But I could overlook alot of this movies problems if Lex didn’t look and sound like complete shit

Idk what to tell you it’s kind of the character. One of the defining traits of Lex is he’s arrogant as shit and thinks the shit he be doing is cute. He definitely has more of a threatening presence than the Joker during his more serious moments but he’s no Kingpin.
Nigga, go read some comics. Lex Luthor can be the most terrifying dude in the room at times.

Yall do know that the lex you know can still show up. We talked about this months ago. Jesse eisenberg is lex jr. Lex sr hasnt been confirmed dead to my knowledge, so he may still pop up some time in the movie. But yeah, lex jr seems to be the main lex for the movie so far, but that doesnt mean may not say the lex luthor we know and love.

Well it wouldnt be a twist, because he is lex jr. That is his character, not fan theory. I’m not sure the purpose of using young lex vs old lex, but im sure we will find out once we can see the movie. Mandarin was definitely some twisty nonsense.
This is what the producers should have modeled Lex on.
