Oh yeah, they’re both assholes. But to say that Supes isn’t bad in Injustice, is just pure lunacy. I mean, was it heroic when he bludgeoned Ollie to death? Was it heroic when he had Atlantis placed in the middle of a desert? Was it heroic when he lit up Martain Manhunter? Was it heroic when he forced the world to do exactly what he wanted? Was it heroic when he paralyzed Bruce Wayne?
You can’t read Injustice thinking about other versions of Batman and Superman. You go into it knowing that Superman turns evil, and Batman and Co. have to take him, and his followers, down.
Those bastards are always ready to wage war on us over petty shit but never wanna talk about anything and find a solution. I laughed my ass off when Supes did that. I love troll Supes, he was sick of their shit as I was.
If Aquaman wasn’t keeping them in check those hot heads would be raiding civilian cities by now.
I used to think the character was cool. And then one day I skimmed through Superman Prime. Since then I now see how
unbelievably STUPID comics are, their writers with serious megalomaniac psychosis, and how with 75 years of written
’history’ can be so easily just changed, turned upside down, because a writer just…felt like it. (several comics of various
labels come to mind).
About DC movies:
I cannot believe they keep making movies. They all (most) suck. There’s been like 1 out of every 10 that doesn’t piss me off.
So idk if it’s been brought up in this thread yet. Did anyone watch the documentary “The Dead of Superman Lives”?
I watched it the other day and I kinda wish that movie had actually gotten made.
Mmmkay. Yeah I know that my opinions are out of left-field compared to most, but it’s because of what I started reading over 35
years ago compared to what’s out now (don’t get me started on the movie scripts/plot/dialog adaptations) where I’m left going:
“What…the…fuck!?”
I wish it got made just out of curiosity. It was such a bizarre project. Especially because of how fucking weird it would be for Nick Cage to be Superman.
I stand by the Spectre one, you guys are hugging on Bautista’s nut sack. We got a bunch of quickly cut frames nothing to judge his performance on.
But otherwise yeh I originally thought it was Bats, then people on the net were saying oh it could be a vigilante posing as Batman or some element of Batman inc story line… so yeah should have stuck with the obvious one.
