It is supposed to be a movie where we relate to the villains in a sense as now they are the protagonists
No one is relating to that ridiculous getup, this movie is just becoming more and more of a trainwreck by the week.

I do on occasion, I am not even against Joker with tats. Those just look dumb as fuck on him though, it is like they are trying to make a character that is already edgy look even more edgy and just making him look ridiculously stupid in the process. Try hard written all over it.

I’ll agree on the tryhard part it. Involving the Joker in the Suicide Squad requires a completely different rendition of the character and a whole new universe to compliment that because there is no continuity in which anyone would capture Joker and even want him to get time off his sentence for 1 or 2 people would believe he could work in a team setting especially with Harley there.
Joker being involved pretty much confirms this is gonna be a Harley movie anyway
Joker tries to mess up the mission for his own gain Harley turns him in and we see he’s escaped sometime within the last 10 minutes of the movie.
Harley does a turn from Heel to face to heel to face again as we find out she’s a strong clown woman who don’t need no man and wants to do missions with her new hubby Will Smith on the Suicide Squad.

The Joker could just be there as a supporting antagonist like how he was in Assault on Arkham. No reason to believe he’s there to steal the show.
The Joker ALWAYS steals the show…even if it’s by accident, which it usually is. It’s who everyone will be focused on in the movie.
Yeah and you don’t get an Academy Award winner like Leto to just be a bit part.
In all fairness it’s a multi movie deal. They can afford to have Leto do a bit part in one movie only to expand in the next one. I wouldn’t personally do it but the option is on the table, especially if they want to flesh out other characters.

Will Smith is the movie’s lead and nothing steals shit from him. We’ll see.
Leto and the girl playing Harley are both gonna have huge roles. She has been in some really big films in stars roles.
That combined with how well her solo comic sells makes me think Harley’s solo movie is gonna get more focus than Wonder Woman.
I just hope they don’t try to pair Harley with Deadshot again. Being tied to him limits her wacky nature and takes away too much of why people like her. She is a much more fun character when she’s allowed to kill at any time and not held to anyone’s code of how to do things.

Deadshot is not a leading character LMAO. He can’t sustain popularity for any long amount of time.
A movie with 2 of the most loved and popular characters in all of comics in Joker and Harley, one of the most popular and intimidating villians in Deathstroke, and an interesting yet morally grey character like Amanda Waller and DC puts all it’s eggs in the DEADSHOT basket?
DC is really fucking up. Shame because this was the one promising movie they had for me. But “true blood” Slade and "Mad tv"Strange along with Deadshot of all characters being the main focus has killed my hype.
Man, whatever you’re saying is stupid. What about Star-Lord from Marvel? he was such a fucking minor character compared to Deadshot.
Bottomline, movie versions are independent of the original character, they can change it in some ways they can make it so much more attractive.
