you can still use the same actors and have it take place in a different world/timeline.
That works with cartoons like Justice League cause you get used to how everything looks, how they all act etc. You do this switch on the 2nd movie and that shit is confusing at worst and dumb at best.

I bet his confusion came about because DC were all of a sudden eager to make a Justice League movie instead of a proper Superman trilogy. It sounds like he thought it was a spinoff and he wasn’t really aware that these characters co-existed.

If a movie is not EXACTLY like how I’m used to it in the comics I am immediately uncomfortable, won’t give it a chance, and shit on it as much as possible.
