I find it odd that we’re getting a prequel AFTER the movie is released in theaters.

What did Studio 4 Celsius work on? I’m down with Production I.G. and Madhouse, but I never heard of 4 Celcius.
Having Bruce Timm, Kevin Conroy, and Mark Hamill on board will almost guarantee this DVD set to be just as good as Batman Begins.
LOL why do people keep saying Kevin Conroy’s name? It’s a prequel to the next Batman live action movie. Chances are it will be Christian Bale doing his voice. Just let it go… I hear Conroy’s voice whenever I read Batman, but seriously, it’s just not gonna happen. Superman Doomsday didn’t use DCAU voices (except for Jimmy Olsen) and New Frontier doesn’t either.
Joker’s probably not in this since it is a prequel to the movie he appears in, so no Mark Hamill. Since it’s based on the movie world, it would be Heath Ledger (RIP) anyway, most likely.
EDIT: Yeah quick google search. Christian Bale is already credited as Batman.
They did the work on Tekkonkinkreet(sp?) I believe.
Point taken. Well, Christian Bale is just as good, if not better than Kevin Conroy, especially since this is set in the BB universe.
This is gonna kick all kinds of ass.
Gotham Knight will be released on July 8th, and it’s 75 minutes long.

Yeah it’s gonna be a pretty hectic year for comic book movies. In addition to those 3, Wanted will be released in June, Hellboy 2 will be released in July. Punisher War Zone will be released in September.

What’s Child of Dreams? Is that a comic or an animated piece?
Child of Dreams is a Batman manga by Kia Asamiya of Steam Detectives and Silent Mobius fame. He also drew a few Uncanny X-Men issues. Personally I liked Child of Dreams a lot, I only wish that DC reprinted it unflopped. The story was a really good way of getting a lot of Bat villains in there. His Catwoman was pretty dope. Joker too.
If you dig that you can check it out his manwha, Batman Hong Kong. Not as good as Child of Dreams IMHO but a lot of fun. Bats is all over the place lol!
