Yea more DLC would be great.Give us some character exclusive episodes Rocksteady!
I know for the next game. In order to make stealth maps feel less stagnant, they could randomize your starting point on the map, not totally random where you might start off in the middle of the map where all the guards can see you, but have about 3 or 4 random starting locations and do the same for the guards too, that way it would prevent you from going into a basic mode to handle that particular map the same every time. It would make it like the challenge maps where it’s a little different every time.
They should just make stealth maps more challenging. You shouldn’t have to play on Extreme for a challenge. It’s too easy which is why it’s stagnant. And I do agree with making the guards starting point random. Hell make them even more random guards at that. Throw in some titans too.
Yeah catwoman an robin couldve definitely be extended more. With certain areas of the map feeling empty they could easily add extra stuff on… the map now feels like that empty space no one goes to on fps like call of duty…
Anyone else amazed on how Rocksteady Studios was able seamlessly blend all the different classic villains of Batman in this game? The voice work and the cinematics along with it is just an awe to look at.
I don’t think DLC is coming at this point. I remember Rocksteady announced DLC months after AA released.
AC reminded me of the Tenchu series. There were some cool features in that game that I wouldn’t mind seeing in the next Batman. Someone already mentioned random starting points and enemy routes. I also liked how different characters started in different parts of the stages. If they really wanted to make stealth harder, Rocksteady could also limit the utility belt inventory (but also have a lot more devices to choose from), and Batman would have to load up the utility belt back at the batcave / safe house before running into a specific villian’s hideout. Then again, the charm of AC is playing right out the gate, so that would probably slow it down too much.
I swear I miss Tenchu…I would love if they took over that series too but I know im asking for too much. Just loved that series…
as far as the belt inventory i agree but i think that ‘lure’ was batman was always prepared or as we said here on srk in the early 2000s that Prep Time lol. Maybe in the next one if they are going to take on the actual city (gothem) and have AC an AS as extra section (ie a grand theft auto multiple cities type thing) then i can see them having you venture back to the batcave…
Tenchu was cool but I always felt like it was a series that just never reached the potential it should have had. They where always too stiff, too clunky. I liked em, but never loved them.
Till Tenchu Z. That game is fuckin awesome. It was still a little too stiff and a little too clunky, but no where near the old ones, and they added on cool ass Ninja Abilities like speed dash, or long jump an shit. Long Jump was fucking awesome. And the Create A Ninja was sweet.
I really loved Z and thought it was finally the push the series needed to head into “great” territory but then they never made another one. Just the series was never mentioned again. Always wondered why they ditched it, they where finally on the right track to a formula that would give them awesome ass games. Oh well.

yeah I doubt they will have more DLC, as it would have at least been mentioned by now. Logically, they should be working on the next game already. Still, with the amount of people who bought it, that would be a great cash grab, and extend the life of the game as well.
Tenchu 1,2, and 3. All godlike. Especially Tenchu 2. That create a level shit was outta control.
IMO Rocksteady is a publisher that puts out DLC that is warranted, has time put into what’s being offered, and places it at a pretty solid price point.
i loved em cause I knew what the potential couldve been…an the story i enjoyed. When I started seeing games like assassins creed and even our beloved batman I knew in the RIGHT hands it could have been serious… if you remember the cast now imagine them in settings as rich as assassins creed or AC. thats why an i knew they were limited on PS 1 and PS 2. Even on the xbox i was happy but let down cause it felt like they didnt push the limits or test what can be done like Rocksteady is doing… again just a wish cause I don’t know whose hands the series is in.
But that’s exactly why I can’t love it. I can’t love something because of what it COULD have been. Only for what it is, and for what it is, the series, while still very cool, is really lacking in a lot of key places like the controls and how fluid your ninja moves.
They should bring Tenchu back, it could be really amazing if they wanted it to be.
If they brought Tenchu back I’d be all over it. You could tell it was a series that never truly shined because whoever owned the franchise didn’t put enough money into the franchise. The developers worked with what little they had, and the end product was still solid. Solid, but not truly excellent, which it had the potential to be several times over. As with everything in life, it’s all about 'dat green. Not the kind you smoke, for all you smartass numbskulls out there.
Moving back to Batman. I think I’ll set the time on my triple back to V-tine day to get that one. Not gonna wait a whole year to get it

DLC for this game is coming. It’s gonna get bought. This is one of the few developers that does DLC right.
Yeah cant wait. ive finished up everything. wonder what it will include cause i would love to venture around the city again.
