You are far too kind sir! I need to get my interwebz speed up so I can stream like SWBeta. I get 13Mbps down / 1Mbps up at my parents house (They got TWC) and I have 3Mbps/ 248Kbps(AT&T DSL). TWC got me once an I will not go back, especially with U-Verse coming to the area. They just need to hurry the hell up. However, the bill is cheap so I don’t complain too much.

U-verse seems better on paper, but considering they have a bandwidth cap (250GB for Uverse customers, 150GB for DSL customers) it’s not worth it, but if it’s better than your other options go for it just be wary of your bandwidth cap. I don’t remember how much it is if you go over, but I think they only charge for every 50GB you surpass it by. They also force a shitty router on you that you I think you can hook up another router to, but you still have to have an ethernet cable running from their shitty router to the router you want to use. I also don’t know if it effects performance of that router or not.
Dunno about in the States, but Arkham City is $29.99 in Canada for the next week

Going back and reading some of the background story to this game they definitely put a lot of thought into it. I consider these bits to be counted of the story as a whole. One thing that I was disappointed about with the story is Hugo Strange knowing Bruce’s identity and that plot element going absolutely nowhere. It shows up a couple of times in the patient interviews but in the campaign’s story not at all. It’s like Dini had forgotten about that part some way in.

Ratcatcher did die in AC. One of the Arkham City Stories says Penguin got to him for being a competitor to his smuggling business in AC.
As for Strange, there are probably several reasons he didn’t actually use that crucial piece of information:
1.) He was genuinely obsessed with breaking/killing Wayne himself. Kind of like the attraction Joker has to screwing around with Batman.
2.) He was being vetted by Ras to see if he was TRULY better than Batman. Having to fall back heavy on the “I know who you are” card might have been seen as a bitch move and gotten him axed sooner.
3.) Even if he was “allowed” to tell, who’s going to believe that a billionaire spends his nights beating down supervillains? Even if the evidence slowly piles up. Bruce has probably thought of a ton of different ways to deal with that.
The story said that he was dragged away by the Penguin, but it didn’t necessarily say that he died. The penguin could’ve had him on display somewhere in the museum, but it just wasn’t in the game. It would be real lame to kill a character off that we never got to see.
I guess I can see where you’re coming from, but it still seemed forgotten to me.
Well let’s go over what we know about “Batman 3” from AC…

I think Black Mask was killed in AC. You can see a skeleton in Penguin’s Museum with his mask on. Though that might just be one of his cronies (if he had cronies).

Nah they worked it perfectly… dr.strange knew an used it as leverage. he is a top psychologist so in order to make his way he would throw it out there here n there… listen to the interview tapes with The Riddler, Mad Hatter, and Joker. An since they are going along with the comic strange TRIED to tell but people thought he was crazy… which makes me laugh at this whole thing since everyone is technically ‘crazy’ in some sort of way…
I cant wait to see how they continue this… hope scarecrow makes a return an definitely killer croc.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot that I had seen the pregnancy test in the game earlier on.

Joker’s Carnival is too fun. The speeches by Joker are hilarious, but I wish you could skip them. And not sure if it’s in my head, but it feels like the characters play faster in the carnival and iceberg lounge stages. Maybe everything just feels faster after playing clunky Uncharted 3 lol.
I would have liked a hand to hand Dr. Strange vs. Batman boss fight. Then when you beat him, he really has failed trying to become Batman instead of [you know what]. Obviously it wouldn’t be a tough fight, but an extra boss fight couldn’t hurt this game or the story imo. Just imagine a boss that is like the ninjas, but with a 3rd attack you need to counter. Oh well, next game heh.
Did you find the scarecrow room? There are also pics floating around of dead Scarecrow thugs when Protocol 10 is going down. I’m still holding out for story DLC.
