On the Carnival Map, I’m number 11 with about 4.6 million points. I was actually number 4 at one point :lol:. I can do an off screen recording and upload it at some point. It’s not that hard really, it’s more situational awareness. The Lieutenant’s swipe is what gets me, but I just lay into him, but I watch for the enemies around me as well. You can easily land a +50 multiplier with him alone.
Trying to get really high scores on a custom Hell Gate is hellish. I have the tougher, faster, guns, counter icons off, and random weapons all on. It would’ve been nice if the game would make you choose your customs before the load screen so that when you lose or restart you won’t have to choose the customs again. With the counters off and tougher faster enemies, it gets chaotic fast. A lot of times I drop combos just from enemies running up to me and not actually hitting me. I also find it harder to tell when multiple enemies are trying to hit you. Sometimes I only notice one and tap one and get hit. I did get into the habit to tap twice regardless. It’s quite difficult to get free flow or dark knight bonuses with these restrictions. The gunman don’t cause too much trouble since the cases beep when they’re trying to get a gun. I usually with throw a batarang their way. I would throw a freeze grenade instead, but for some reason it either misses them or hits another henchman instead. Those ninja girls are something else in a crowd too with those swords they can fuck you up from a distance and if you don’t have your camera positioned right you’ll get stabbed by an off screen ninja.
for something of that setup you have to ‘give up’ on something then… if u set up the counter icon to be off you may want to resort to flips instead of trying to counter when you cant tell if its 1… 2 or 3 people coming at you. i usually resort to that once my free flow begins an the action gets that slow down moment. just a insight cause ive tried the custom setups an i must say it forced to me rework my strats.
Tougher enemies IMO just means they gang up more often. After a while, it won’t phase you at all. With the gunmen, keep the disarm ready, to hell with the batarangs. If you point the analog stick his direction and initiate it, the game will pick out the Most threatening opponent. About 90% of the time, it gets it right. It gets it wrong if a thug w/ weapon is in the direct line of another. The animated moves have full invincibility up until the move finishes, then get the hell out of the way. If I feel threatened I usually disarm, takedown, etc
To counter multiples enemies successfully with wounter icons off, when unsure, mash if more than one approach. If it is only one, the animation starts and it won’t kill your combo, if it is more than one, the animation starts and you don’t get hit. It might mess up the critical strike for the next hit, but loosing one hit is much better than dropping the whole combo.

This game has so much funny banter between random thugs. One of the conversations between Joker’s thugs was hilarious. This one thug just talked so much shit, I almost felt bad for taking him out. 
have you heard the one with one of the thugs saying ‘its tighter than my mom on prom night’… i swear my girl an i stood there to hear the WHOLE convo play out roflmao
still my favorite is cause its usually after hearing harsh comments:
“…i wonder whats on TV…”
or the ever so classy
“…how can i kill on a empty stomach…”
Yeah, the banter is a pretty damn nice touch. Sometimes I just glide around and perch up and listen to whats going on. I remember the one about the mom on prom night. That didn’t have an ending I expected which made it great. Also I like the challenge map banter when you play Robin. Things like:
“Robin? No way is he real.”
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I thought you were some kind of a joke!”
By the way, the thug I was talking about is the one who talked about “riding the Harley.” The thug’s tone of voice and all the shit talking was unbelievable.
yes that one is classic an the one in the Steel Mill during the story line when the thugs were mimicing harley and jokers voice

done after that… they put fine work into the ‘world’ of this game

You’re talking about the room just past the conveyor belt with three inmates guarding the door? Playing this on new game + last night and I noticed something. Took out the guy walking above the two talking and just stood by the back window listening to these two talk, and I hear something behind me. The whole time an inmate in the other room saw me and was pounding on the window trying to yell at the two talking. “What are you, blind? He’s right behind you!”

Good shit, Optimus. Can’t wait to play that map. BTW skin pack is out now. And I read PC users have figured out a way to hack the game to play as Robin and Nightwing in the campaign, albeit with glitches and Batman’s voice.

I rarely use the counter button in a crowd of enemies. If there is large space, I use the freeflow as my evade 
The costume DLC is out… BATMAN BEYOND. My favorite suit of all time. I will finish the game just so that I can start a harder campaign in the greatest suit.
