Ah K I had not got that far yet, I just beat the big ass group of guys after Hugo Strange talks to you on the monitor. I took me a good 5 or 6 times to get past that at least.
i hope u guys got the clue for whats in store for the next game :D.
The electric shock gun has two polarities. If you look at the arrows on the sides of the button label, they go different ways. For Example

>>>>R2<<<<
What this does is for some of the challenges is either push an object away or pull it towards the electromagnet.
The Mystery Stalker appears on the rooftops in the city city

One of the rooftops virtually straight across from the ferris wheel on the other side of the city

Penguin’s trophy room where Mr. Freeze was locked up
Joker’s fun house; fighting Joker and I think the first time you meet one of the twins
"Hidden" warehouse in the last side mission for Mr. Freeze
Tyger processing center after Strange gives you a speech through a big screen[/details]
They look like big propane tanks fyi. I don’t think guys respawn in those rooms if you’ve already been there.
Awesome moments…
-Interrogating an informant next to a balcony rail
-Square/Triangle against all weapons…gun and shield especially
-All the bad ass context counters next to walls. Seriously, everyone fight next to a wall!
-Glitched out and a bat was sticking out of my arm during a fight. Ultimate Batman!
I wish someone would make a video of all the fighting animations, since I’m usually too busy fighting to notice. Hell, I’m tempted to buy the equipment myself.
thanks a ton
Special Disarm is the best move addition to this game IMO
I actually found a cool Easter Egg last night, although admittedly I knew it existed. But I had totally forgot how to trigger it or where , so I was just randomly doing stuff and when it happened I pee’d myself. The “Kool-Aid Man” only makes a cameo during a certain time-sensitive spot on your first playthrough, so I I know many people were oblivious to it. Anyway, here is the vid for anyone who missed it.
Mr. Freeze ending had me dying, man.
WHY! AIN’T! YOU! GOT! MY! MONEY!!!
what was the Freeze ending, and how do you get it?
I was gonna post that awhile ago Seriously, I can disrupt 2 guns, then swoop down and whup some ass till i get a 5 hit combo, then snap somebodies gun or cattle prod, while the 2 gunless wonders scratch their heads.
I beat the entire game last night, and will try New Game + tonight. Having fun going back and forth right now, in my original campaign.
ending
What a great ending. Kinda like a great sendoff for the Batman continuity before the reboot (what with Oracle still being a cripple)
Game is serious. I have gone in on the original game file and working through the side quests. I really have to halfway think on some of these riddles and what not. I love the new moveset. I do miss the Lemur attack (Throw your enemy>> GROUND POUND!!!)
You can still do the ground pound. Crouch+Y or /. Enemies are a lot more agressive in this game tho, they will knock you out of it a lot more then they did in AA.
who here has the “paid your respects” achievement?
how to get it
you have to go to crime alley, and press a or x over the rose near the chalk outlines directly behind the theatre, and let the entire song play out in the background. theres also a strange audio file on the ground there
i was going to sell this back after i got to 100%, but its such a damned masterpiece, i dont want to part with it
I got that Achievement. Was cool. Strange is a dick.
You can, but you can no longer do the “throw” and then launch toward the enemy. Full of LOLs and was a technique that was easily abused and got your score high pretty nicely.
Here was a pretty crappy run I did about a year ago as a friend of mine was wondering about getting the 40x multiplier back in AA. At about 25 seconds, you see what I am talking about.

I love how the enemies are technically more difficult due to their combinations. I also like how the gadgets were tweaked for a more single target focus. It inherently makes it mode difficult, but they handle so smoothly. I find that I have more control over the situation.
You saying batman can’t jump as far for the ground pound anymore? I kinda got out of the habit of using it cuz i got knocked out of it a lot more. Enemies are a lot more aggressive now.
That video reminds me that I miss the black cowl and cape from AA. The blue one in AC…it’s just not as cool.
ground pound is HELLA dangerous, as you can’t cancel the animation. It’s pretty much for emergencies or when you’re one on one and need somebody gone fast (ie somebody with a gun). Safer to just keep whupping ass or do the jumping batarang that takes out grounded opponents.
Getting combos is easy, you have to NOT button mash, and take your time, allowing each animation to finish. If you fight armored opponents, thats a goldmine for big combos. Just use that attack that stuns opponents (B on Xbox, O on PS3), then mash attack to do a huge combo, but take your time and allow for people to try to attack you. Then counter them, and go back to whupping the armored opponent.
The ground pound was really really safe in AA cuz enemies where a bit less aggressive and animations where slower so ground pounding someone was a great idea most of the time, especially if there was some distance between them and the group. In AC it’s not useful yea.
That is so true, I think they made that change for that reason. In this game they also tweaked the scoring a bit. Ground pound only gives you your combo count times 75 (AA was 100). The multi batarang takedown is much more effective along with it’s presentation being more badass. I find myself raaaaaaarely using the GP in this game. I must admit, the beat-down is becoming my favorite move.
My crowd stunner is combo frenzy + Super POWAH freeze blast. Knocks out about 6 dudes at a time. I try to aim for those that are armed (with guns or stun batons) or armored.
Super power freeze blast?
Also is it just me or do the large numbers seem to fuck with the lock on? Batman has a habit of going after guys I didn’t ask him to, break a bat instead of a sheild like i wanted, so on and so fourth. It’s a little frustrating.
Edit:
Easter Egg in Sewers
I also feel really stupid that I can’t figure out how to get into the sewers where Croc is considering that’s how i got in, in the first fucking place but can’t seem to manage to get back. How fucking dumb is that?
