I actually feel like Batman. All the tools the movements, the gadgets, etc. This is the best use of a license in a game . . . . EVAH!!! It’s got an original story that respects the original archetypes. Yeah, I can see the complaint with everyone and their mama showing up, but they still treat them as if you are reading from the pages of a DC Comic. I am going to be forced to plat this game. I know it won’t be anytime soon, and I am ok with that!

so my playstation hard drive just got corrupted mysteriously and I have to re download arcade edition, catwoman and all that other dumb shit I shouldn’t have to.
I just unlocked 1970s batman and an extra game mode and it’s all gone. passwords should be used in all games to avoid this baloney. fuck sony

What’s the best version of arkham city pc, ps3, or 360? I got AA on ps3 because it had exclusive content.

I’d say eff it and just go grab it today despite being sick but it’s supposed to be really rainy and nasty all day. So I really don’t feel like making my cold worse.
Got the game on release (#16), beat the main story in less than a day (including Catwoman’s parts), and yet this game doesnt give me the feeling of “I just wasted $60 on a game that I wont play after two weeks.” Whether it’s because I love Batman, how good the gameplay is, and/or because I still have side missions to do, I’m just happy that it wasnt just a hype buy (as of yet).
The way she jumps up buildings, crawls like a cat, and can walk on ceilings…got damn I could play a full catwoman game.

I feel you. I don’t think the story is too long as from where I am it’s seems to be paced pretty well. Getting on the side quests are where it’s at as it enhances the “BECOME THE BAT” experience.
Speaking of enhancing the experience, has anyone tried the 3D glasses for this game that lets you play in 3D on any TV?
yeah, and at one point Catwoman mentions wanting to use him to assist her. He could just be name dropped for all I know, but we shall see.
No I haven’t, but I really wanna pick em up. Could other 3D glasses work? I have a ton of the ones from movie theatres and the old school Red/Blue’s.

I have a 3D TV and 3D glasses (the nice expensive shits). When I turned on the game I played through the first few missions with it turned on. Wasn’t worth it. To be honest, I didn’t expect it to be. No game I’ve bought so far that supports 3D was worth playing in 3D. You either get dizzy after a half hour or the game is just more difficult to play. Black Ops was almost unplayable.
Within the first 10 minutes of playing as Catwoman, the onlly thing that came to mind was…these guys need to do Spiderman.
They need to fix the error that bumps you out of playing if you have a download that finishes in the background. I’ve NEVER seen this in any of my years of using electronic devices connected to the internet. Regardless of the hardware I’m currently on. It makes NO SENSE. It’s simply atrocious.
Other than that this is the most compelling game this year. I don’t want to stop playing ever.
