In order to cancel the ex dash do you have to be close to your opponent for the ex dash. Can you do the ex dash from across the screen and still do the cancel to super???

Balrog ( Hard Trial #4)
Im sure there isnt any thread on Hard trial 4 for balrog yet anyway Im having huge problems connecting the cr Lp, cr Lp cancel into Ex dash upper. It always ends up as a standing LP or balrog doesnt do anything after that.
I read in the threads that i have to link the cr Lp into e next one den cancel into the Ex dash upper but I just cannot get it! I only got it once out of a million times…been trying this for almost 3 days now…
Anyone got some tips…:pleased:
Oh yah one more thing, can someone explain to me frame data? I got this prima guide SFIV book with tons of frame data at e back but Im not sure how to use it to my advantage…
Like you said, you have to link the two cr. lp. If you just spam, you can’t cancel into the rush upper. You probably just need to slow down your input and practice.
Granted, I’m also stuck on this trial as well! 
it’s really a timing issue. Man this is weird like i’m a new poster but i get it now. seriously man there are shittons of this type. Just use the search… i used the search at the top and the FIRST RESULT talks about this.

but it’s a timing issue, you have to really practice the timing just practice linking your c.LP until you can do it 100% of the time. I’ve never linked anything before and it took me about a day to get this down. It’s all about timing, once you get it then everything else comes much easier.
Just slow down and work on your precision. It’s amazing how once you get this one down, the level 5 trial will only take a couple of tries. The two are pretty similar but the timing just has to “click” with you.

I’m stuck on 5 myself. After 4, 5 looked easy, but for some reason I lost my timing for the cr.jab after ex dash upper.

I can’t get the headbutt to connect on hard 5. I can do most of the rest of the combo consistently, but I’m too far away come time for the headbutt.

after u complete the hard and normal trials u get a set of 4 character specific icons… unfortunately u have to pay for the costumes :tdown:
