They need to disable Assist Gems in Ranked Matches and only allow them in player matches FOR FUCKS SAKE >:(

Waah please, I want to see them die also but… think about the “good” assistgems that allow for creative gembuilds that actually change the game (Assault Extend / Pandora Extend). Everyone just says “get rid of the assistgems!” but in the end these rantings probably kill my precious Assaultextend too. Seriously, no one ever said something bad about these and I fear the Autoblock/Autotech shitgems will drag the extend gems down the drain too. I´d say Capcom either only bans autoblock/tech and maaaybe easy execution, but leaves the extends alone. Technically, these are neither assist- nor boostgems, they´re utility gems. I think Capcom just said “ah well, lets put them into the assistgem section rather than creating a third utility section, no one is going to complain anyways”; and this connected with the general autosomething-gem hate will lead to the demise of two perfectly fine gameplay changing (but not breaking) and interesting gems.
I really think autoblock/tech needs to die, but please, Capcom, leave the extends alone. Although I guess that won´t happen because in the end Capcom probably just bans the whole assist section…
Some balance changes I’ve thought of over time:
Akuma - make the Demon Flip viable or buff ground projectile. One or the other.
Paul - buff walk speed. ASAP.
Ryu - normal donkey kick shouldn’t be +0 or +1. Leave EX the way it is.
Ken - buff normals, increase hurtbox on air tatsu
Kazuya - damage nerf. Dude has 50/50 high-low all day with his normals. Its ridiculous.
What low/high 50/50’s again? The overhead, b+hk has 26 frames of recovery, can be jumped and is very punishable on block. It’s perfectly fine.
Yeah, to be fair… I’m speaking of the auto-gems. Pandora Extend, Boost Extend, Expert Input are fine. Hell, I don’t really care about Easy/Super-easy input.

I believe only the Hk version is because it actually doesn’t combo. I use it at the end of block strings to frame trap. But opponents can counter/reversal you in between for free.

Donkey kick is fine. People whine about stupid shit like that and air tatsu because they don’t want to have to exert any effort to get around it. Characters should be allowed to have strengths. Not that donkey kick ‘frame traps’ are a strength…
Personally my only beef with Ryu is just how dang ambiguous cross-up tatsus are. Other than that I think that Ryu is just a solid character…though sometimes I think he’s a bit too solid.
Though on the bright side, the fact that so many people use Ryu online means that I get plenty of match-up experience.
As for buffs/nerfs…honestly I don’t think that any of the top-tier characters needs a nerf right now. With maybe the exception of Rufus’s dive kick (which already got nerfed to heck, and I think it should be -2 on block not -4), I think that the top tiers are fine (except for maybe Raven, not sure as I haven’t fought a good one yet). Just buff the lower tiers that really need it, like Yoshimitsu, and leave the higher tiers alone. There aren’t any Twin/Fei Long level characters in this game from what I’ve seen.
Go into training mode, pick training room as a stage. The spacing for the cross up tatsu is 1 block between two standing characters. Anything further that that will not cross up. Anything besides that will whiff.

I think Kazuya only has two 50/50s, spinning demon and EX rising sun. Its really not that bad, block his chains low and look out for slaughter hook. Just go into training mode and learn his hit levels.
Kazuya has like, one overhead he can combo off (qcb.LP) and it’s easy to block and MASSIVELY unsafe on block. Abusing the chain system to do a low where he would’ve done an overhead instead doesn’t give much damage, it’s unsafe if he guesses wrong, and there are ways around it like doing a reversal in the middle of the block string (it’s not a true block string).
And speaking of backdashing, thats what people should do against Ryu’s HK Donkey Kick. People call it cheap but they just sit there like an idiot while the Ryu player constantly does cr.MK, HK Joudan, repeat, instead of doing something like backdashing or alpha counter.
mechanics stuff
- you guys ever come across ambiguous cross-ups(non-corner) that you swear you blocked as a cross up, but the character landed in front instead of behind…yeah remove those.
- grey health should not disappear on the incoming character after a cross-rush/tag-cancel. Only on raw tags.
3.reset the combo counter when you activate pandora and have the incoming character appear on the same spot where you activated pandora.
4.remove all the new OP auto-tech/block gems. Just keep auto-block(remove 1 bar) and auto-tech(remove 1/2 bar). The new ones are just broken as hell especially on how easy it is to gain meter in this game. or if you are gonna keep these gems(they gotta have a penalty of 50% reduced meter gain of something. I mean even the pandora extend has a -10% defense penalty.
online stuff
- improve ranked battle matching system. Make the matchmaking faster, no one wants to wait 5 minutes for a match.
- have an endless lobby like SC5 where you can see the match, but still have a chat in the lobby(that’s too cool).
- have a win-loss record on the players in the lobby(i don’t know why this feature is not there to begin with)
- remove that bug where 2 players randomly can’t start a match for some reason.
- if it’s a 2-man lobby, have a rematch option at the end of every round.

When are they going to started nerfing and buffing certain characters, I don’t know if its just me but i find this game pretty darn unbalanced.
I find some characters on this roster don’t stand much a chance against some characters, who do you think should get a nerf or buff

Nerf what exactly? You just looked at a tier list and saw the higher tiers and decided to make a thread how they should be nerfed and others buffed?
I didn’t really im just not that good analyzing everything but ill give my reasons anyway im sure theres more but this is what is think off the top of my head
also im not saying WHAT exactly should be nerfed about them since i dont know everything about the characters but im sure capcom can come up with ways to balance them
Nerfs:
Kazuya ( way too much damage, he has alot of mix ups, hes fast and really does not need all of that damage the does)
Hugo (Just way way to powerful, most health in the game, too much armor. im sure people are aware he is OP)
Ryu and Ken (It seems like their shoryukens beat basically everything ans recovery time is way to fast they block right after shoryukens miss and the worst is when is used steve and do Swaying they can just block it. that is ridiculous how i counter him with that move then he just blocks then uses shoryuken on me)
Heihachi (his mixups are insane how he hits high low overhead everything in his combos! on top of that his combos are so long and he can combo off basically anything)
Law (pretty crazy overall although i can’t think of what is wrong but he is stronger than most of the roster which is unbalance right there but ill still leave him as maybe)
Buffs:
Kuma ( super slow, takes too long too attack and not much combo potential, i used to play him seriously but there just isn’t that much he can do in the end)
Balrog (overhead punch takes way too long too start up. It should at least the armor when EX)
Paul & Yoshimitsu ( I don’t know these characters very well but ive heard there terrible and everytime i face them there completely useless and it seems clear that guys like this don’t have much a chance against guys like Kazuya or Law)
Im sure people can think of some other/better reasons since i don’t really look into that stuff that too much
