Jump-in MK (Abusively, just because it has such a fast start up time and it can stuff alot of attacks IMO, plus it seems to have longer reach and animation then FK…)
c.FK to FA… ( I dont know, i nver liked the idea of the double c.FK, i tend to spam FA after the first hit… gets me into alot of trouble sometimes =P eating ultra retaliations)
Excessive LP Sonic Booms ( i tend to forget there are MP and FP sonic booms. EX for that matter)
Forgetting to Air Throw whiffed DPs and just c.FP instead. ( Yeah, this is very common with me, i always forget.)
Starting a match with FADC f.FP (playing so many FB starters almost made this a muscle memory, which gets me to eat Hurricane Kicks/DP/Knees with a passion…)
Starting a round with b.MK sonic boom (its almost like telegraphing to people to jump FK me in the face. But this was another one of those where if i knew it was a HK or blanka roll fromt he start… usually trades or hits them out of it.)

The crouching roundhouse. Guilty of doing it waaaaaaaaaaay too much without even thinking about it. Sometimes I get an overeager opponent who only blocks the first of the two hits, but that’s not really something to rely on
I also have a problem doing the ultra when I want to. Also I notice when I try to set people up for air throws, I sometimes just get jump kicked when I try. I don’t know if that’s because I’m not throwing early enough or because Ryu’s god damned foot just has that much more reach
im have the habit of throwing the c.hk as well. im training myself to poke with a c.mk or the sabat instead of constantly sweeping. seems to be helping…
been getting into another bad habit now, this after going hours on end trying to get his super/ultra to 75% on command.
Buffering Super/Ultra when now bars, end up doing too many flash kicks on memory heh… and then i twitch ultra/super when i dont need it and get counterrippedapart.
i dash after throwing a sonic boom…sometimes its good but i do it a lot for no reason so i eat an ex fireball from the opponent, or they jump over it and kick me in the face. I try doing a flash kick cancel when i wake up but sometimes the opponent is farther then when i can cancel and they block and beat me when i land…i need to do a crouching roundhouse cancel instead when the opponent is farther. when the opponent blocks a Focus attack i never dash in or out after the hit. hmmm…sometimes i just plain suck.
I’m an okay guile in G2… I still get massacred by crossups. I’m finally learning the FA cancels along with poking. I have a bad habit of wakeup FKs and close ex booms vs wake up shoryu’s.
Still somewhat guilty of the crouching rh, but it’s only vs those that don’t defend it.
I find doing myself throwing out c.hp and st.mk too early or too late for anti air or using c.hp for far jump-ins which just does not work. Too used to throwing out flash kicks from my rookie days which could just sweep a large area in front of you.
In the corner, I SB > c.HK > SB > c.HK until they figure it out. Awful habit; it’s something I kept from the release of SF4, when people weren’t used to it and would either block high, or forget that c.HK has two hits.
I also always charge down-back, and tend to get murdered by people that abuse overheads. I remember on one occasion, I got beat by a Zangief that spammed body splash for roughly 80 seconds. >_>
i do the same thing but sometimes mix up with over head puch.
ok bad habits:
fadc through fireballs to get through. and eating shoruken on face.
stand fierce > sonic boom with boxer
too preditable with lp sonic boom > stand HK and eating shorken again.
too freaked out by tick throws so sometimes press throw button and eat a three hit combo
doing lp boom right infront of opp
