When you look at the colors, there should be one that you just FEEL more inclined to pick. Pick that one.
I like 9. I would do little hints of 6, 9, or 11. Think SSF4…
I vote 6. But if your making it your own, do the Orange one #9.
I’d go for 4 or 6, classic Vewlix colors. They are the most bold colors also.
The finish is insane.
Do either black, red, and white or scrap the white completely (like the black and blue BlazBlue Vewlix or the red and black SFIV Vewlix).
What was your inspiration for the color choices?
Hmmmm… Its a tough one to be honest. Initially my plan was to have a subtle colour from either 1, 2 or 3 as that way it wont look out of place in the living room. I was also thinking of matching the colour scheme to my website. Which is black white and tealish/bluey colour. I might end up painting the balltops and some of the buttons, im not sure yet.
My biggest problem is I am soo undecisive about my own things but when it comes to others I can set my mind very quickly.
I was hoping to steer away from the vewlix red and blue as that wouldnt make it much different. Having said that the blue would look pretty punchy.
The inspiration for the colour choices were simply colours that go well with black & white. I was just changing the hues and stopping where I thought the colour looked good.
Sorry, but yellow is out of the question as I hate yellow :S I just put it in to see what reaction it would get.
12 is the hotness <3 purple
I’d go with 7, it looks the best.
Honestly I would prefer 2 or 3.

Just an estimate of where suggestions are right now; I’d personally like red, not so much because of the actual Vewlix designs but because red is my favorite color.

Considering it is going to be in your living room. Failing that #12 or even #7
12 and 9 are really nice colours. Red would probably look a bit more accurate since it’s traditional Vewlix colours. Though since it’s your own go for something different I reckon

Thanks guys for the feedback, it helped alot! I was going to go with the bright blue even though I promised myself not to chose red or blue as Vewlix come in those colours anyway.
While mixing up the paint I managed to obtain a very nice shade of blue/green. The colour flips depending on the lighting conditions.
The base, upper frame, doors and control panel are painted and have fully cured.
Next step will be to start assembly. I am still waiting for this damn router bit so that I can finish off the side panels.
I will also be purchasing some stainless steel tubing to fabricate the arms to fit to the base unit. I will be welding some rotating wheels to it so it can be easily manouvered.
