Seeing that tournament outcome gets me motivated to play. We need more money tournaments in phoenix. The upcoming devastation tournaments are wack (sorry robb). I’m talking money and payout here.
We will probably put MCV3 on a 2 month schedule for tournaments. Unless everyone wants one sooner, but with the Ranbats every 2 weeks, it seems unlikely.

I don’t really view them as DEV tournaments, just run by the DEV team. I do think ranbats should probably award differently to make them worthwhile.

It just seems like the payout system for the upcoming DEV RAN Ranbats should have the normal 5 -10 bucks entry. I understand your guys reasons to go with $1. I would rather see more money, high pot tournaments.
Also I see them as devastation related because they are more or less are marketing tool for devastation.
